The A side doesn’t call people out, people call out the A side. When your the A side you raise someone’s stock by acknowledging them. When Conor was coming up he called out everyone, when he arrived he calls out no one (except Mayweather when he was the B side). Conor doesn’t want to help build up someone else’s brand by being seen to chase them, he makes them chase him cause he’s the money fight and knows it. If you know anything about negotiation you know not to show your hand that’s why he always talks about ‘options’ and how ‘options are good’. He really wants the kabib fight and is currently running 1 fight deals, so his next negotiation he could be leveraging masvidal as an option to ensure the ufc lay him to get him to fight khabib a fight he already wanted, white said in post fight presser the khabib fight makes most sense as a financial global sporting event, Mcgregor knows this so will make sure he gets paid the most to sign the fight he wants anyway by dangling the masvidal carrot or Usman etc
