That was one of the best UFC's embedded in my memory. Was the event that I watched with my best friend (when he was alive at the time, RIP) and got him into the sport. Years later he has posters of GSP and Silva all over his room which were given to me after his death by his family. I also remember the event because the fucking POWER went out during the Jose Aldo fight where I was watching and to my friends entertainment he saw me FREAKING OUT that the fucking power would get cut while my FAVOURITE DAMN FIGHTER was fighting. lol. This was at another friends house who rented it and invited like 10 people over who all pitched in and were having drinks and whatnot...His dad called the PPV people asking for a refund but eventually it came back on just in time to see the end of the Aldo fight.

If I also remember this was the same event that Machida karate kicked Couture into retirement? I'd have to check but I'm pretty sure it was. Either way shit was stacked. I'll never forget this card the fact I can tie so many memories to it makes it something special. Even the prelims were stacked if I recall correctly.
