They both weigh the same. Both cut a little weight to 170.
Masvidal is shorter than Cerrone.

Until that fight Connor will probably bulk up some more to be the heavier fighter in the cage.
 
Dana never seemed concerned when any other fighters went up in weight.
 
The size difference between the two is negligible. Barely worth commenting on.
 
Jorge might be around 5lbs heavier and is 2" taller but has the same reach. I'd say they are pretty close in size, Masvidal is not a big welterweight. It's not like he was forced up to 170 by missing weight multiple times, he could easily still compete at 155.
 
Conor with lip service and all the sheeple gather. Let's get one thing out of the way ( maybe 2). Donald Cerrone is a lightweight.....a tall lightweight but a lightweight. He had mixed results at a small sample at 170 where he fought mid level / and down welters. He , at least, fought actual welters when they were welters.
How can Conor " enjoy " this division when he hasnt fought a welter yet. Hes fought 3 times now where he didnt have to worry about cutting weight against other lightweights. You can call that for whatever u want.

Some moons ago, Masvidal was a lightweight himself. Hes all growed up now and fits into an actual welterweight frame. Big difference.

When Conor really wants to turn heads, let him fight Masvidal or open weight ( like real studs like Gegard ,Henderson and many moons ago, wanderlei)

Conor is fighting LW's at WW. Dustin Poirier, Anthony Smith, Thiago Santos, DC, Masvidal, Cejudo etc etc all moved up and finished fighters who genuinely compete in the division they moved up to.
 
Conor will do anything he can to avoid 155 (and Khabib)

If you think Masvidal is a brawler then you probably still think he's fighting in backyards. He's got clean boxing technique and he uses it.

As far as relying on his chin, how is that any different than Diaz who choked Conor out already? And Masvidal is finishing bigger strikers with significantly more power than Conor and you think he's an easy matchup for Conor? Just lol

Lol, Jorge is a career lightweight. Their isn't that much of a size discrepancy
 
They have both made weight at 155 on numerous occasions. Jorge is a little bigger, but it wouldn't be some David vs Goliath fight.
 
I actually think this is a 50 50 fight.
 
Not fair whatsoever Conor would KTFO him in the first exhange besides he needs to rematch Nate for the real BMF belt with qualified doctors this time else he is just a poser
 
Masvidal is (90% probable IMHO) going to fight Usman next for the 170lb WW belt.
I would think that'll happen in May or June, probably UFC250 on May 9th, obviously as the Main Event. April would I think be too soon, although they COULD book Masvidal vs Usman as the Co-main for UFC 249 in April.

Masvidal said he wants to be active, so they need to get stuff moving fast, booked in. Dana does not want Usman or Masvidal to smash his Irish ATM any time soon, so he'll keep them separate.

He got tagged left and right by Wonderboy for three rounds, where was his boxing? Nobody can take punishment like Nate and still have cardio, if Masvidal stands with Conor he won't get past second round.

What does getting tagged by Wonderboy have to do with anything? You act like Wonderboy is some bum striker. Lol he would do the same thing to Conor.

Nobody can, huh? So nobody in the history of MMA can take punishment and still have cardio? It's just funny to me how Nate is this great fighter ever since he beat Conor when in fact he's an extremely limited fighter.

Masvidal finishes Conor and then Conor comes up with an excuse for his loss like he always does.
 
Not physically fair, that being said Conor can and probably would still win.
