Same thing happened to Connor and Dustin. When Dustin fought Michael he was overconfident. And when Connor fought dustin the second time he was over confident got knocked out.

Guy's a phenom. I don't know why i doubted him. I picked him but very tentatively. I'm just glad he washed the conor stink off of him. People can finally stop shittalking him or calling him sloppy and dumb and shit. I know people respect him, but many including myself (up until circa holloway or eddie 2) kinda saw him as "fun" but "scrappy", "never to truly reach the top". Sure he lost to khabib but destroyed everybody else not named Michael Johnson.

Yep. Agreed. For me it was the stretch between alvarez 1 and 2. (especially the gaethje fight.) that's when i started rallying for a title shot since tony was busy fucking up, tripping over cables.

He picks on people smaller/lighter than him. Back then Dustin was a dehydrated wisp, moving up to 155 was the right choice.
The only 155er Conor can beat is Eddie.
Rematch Doostin and your a dead man.
Pick a fight with Joostin and he will get slept worse than what Doostin did to him.
His career is over, he has no reputable fights that will make him look good.

Unfortunately, more people will talk about Conor's inactivity or say he is washed instead of giving Dustin the credit he deserves. Guys like Dustin seem to go underappreciated. Really hard to find anything to dislike about him, not sure why he is not more popular....Iv been a big fan since the Eric Koch fight and i realize thats even a little late.

it's messed up. i only opened my mind up about him after listening to this asshole called mma quick hits. the only things of value i picked up from that wanker were that dustin is better than eddie, an exciting fighter and hard to hate. as a result i looked past his conor stench, lower ranking ( i was a noob) and watched. been a respectful fan since, especially when he destroyed justin and beat eddie's ass a second time after all the shit talk, the smugness after the illegal knee and the ducking.
