yes he does. if you're going to claim you're the best in the world you need to defeat the other top contenders. that's how combat sports work. otherwise, why would Jose Aldo fight Conor McGregor? he had a better resume and was the champion. why would Stipe fight Ngannou again? he already beaten him and has a better resume.

you prove you're the best by beating the rest, not having a better resume.

Wilder is easily Fury's best win. Wlad would be but of course Fury waited until he was in his 40's. Wilder is one of the most overrated heavyweights of the past 50 years. Someone like Jerry Quarry would flat line Wilder.

Yeah cool, but that has absolutely no link with the discussion. Conor still made Khabib work the hardest for his takedowns. And yes, Khabib deserves props for the standup, but it's a separate matter

I guess you didn't watch the part where he cheated his ass off the entire fight? Pretty sure it's easy to look good when you're holding shorts, grabbing the fence, landing illegal blows, and hooking the gloves.

Also, I guess you forgot the Gleison Tibau fight? Where Tibau stuffed Khabib's takedowns. You don't think he made Khabib work harder than Conor? Or are we just looking for reasons to act like Conor did the best against Khabib when it wasn't the case at all?

Tibau made him work for his takedowns too, that's a good point. I was referring to guys in his recent streak.

Yeah he cheated plenty of times, it was bad. But most of it what in trying to get up. He still defended multiple takedowns in the open, which is what prompted me to say his ground game is not completely shot, as most people would like to believe

Once again, I'm not saying he's a wizard on the ground, I'm just saying he's underrated compared to the extreme amount of hate coming his way lately. The point flew over your head

Is Conor actually going to fight a retired fighter a few years away from collecting checks from the government....???

Or did he increase the social media traffic for Mark Coleman's celebrity boxing match so Coleman could make more money?
