Rumored Conor and Rousey's PPV payouts revealed in disclosures from the UFC antitrust suit, via Bloody Elbow

Nah, everyone is for themselves
You are earning chump change but you don't get together with your co-workers because trying to earn more for yourself is easier than trying to start a revolution
STFU you bitch ass Dana.

That's pretty pathetic when considering how much U Fight Cheap profited. Just for example, Francis is set up to make more than all of them combined in just his next boxing match alone.

Either most satirical or most deluded post in Sherdog history. If you believe Helwani's $40 million number, you are the ultimate mark and should march yourself over to the other half of TKO's entertainment division.

Inside the cage during professional fights put on by the UFC, Ronda Rousey has fought for a total of 24 minutes and 48 seconds. Based off her totals listed above she made $17,784,198.00 for that. Damn.
Paid $12,350 per second of her in ring career. That has to be top 1 minute to dollar in UFC history.

This has to be the most mind-numbing thread. People are really using this as evidence against fighter pay.

Read the report. It has disclosed and undisclosed payouts. The UFC isn't lying about these numbers. This is an anti-trust lawsuit where their final chance at delaying the trial has been DENIED. It is set for April. The judge is going hard on their asses. This pay disclosure was critical.

Nate and Conor made a combined 16 million for their TWO PPVs. Both of those PPVs combined (not including gate) yielded over 100 million dollars. If the TOP earners in a sport are making >10% of the revenue and the company in charge owns nearly 90% of the market share, you have a fucking problem. That is a bold face monopoly.

I see people saying "It's about the lowest earners." Dude its about everyone. Conor is the main reason his cards are drawing massive, record breaking numbers and he's pulling less than 10% of the revenue. That precedent is what makes it impossible to get better pay for mid to lower level fighters. Change happens from the top down not from the bottom up. Is it a serious argument, based in reality, that if the average lower to mid level fighters gains an XX% raise then that will rise to the top? No. How do you think lower to mid level fighters are supposed to negotiate higher pay when the ceiling for getting more pay is being set by the higher guys? The highest earnest set the ceiling and give room for the managers and other fighters to play with the room between that and the floor.

I see people talking about "This doesn't include sponsorships." It is a FACT that fighters lose more on sponsorships than any other area. They can't advertise in the cage or press conferences. People like Francis and others have shown that UFC deals will directly impact who is willing to sponsor fighters even outside of the cage.

Yeah and Saudis spent like 100 million for the entire event...they dont seem to care about profits
The Saudi's saw that budget as an investment in the minds of all combat sports fans. They knew the event alone wouldn't profit, but the scale and spectacle would be enough to gain the attention of the world.

And that, it definitely did.

Now we know why Dana loves Conor and Rousey so much. He got them at a steal.

Conor was smart to know that to move to the upper tier of athete pay he'd have to cross over into boxing and promote whiskey.

Wheres the proof of that? Nobody is paying a 0-1 boxer 30mil bro. It all depends on who his next fight is against, he might get 10mil again or even less.

So that plus the few million show money. About as expected, and not good.

I'd say it's as likely as someone paying a 0-0 boxer 10 million dollars. But what's the likelihood of that?

You think Francis' marketability is the same or less after that bout? That's an honest assessment or just a fallacy grown out of a distaste for Francis?

Major corporations always have a way of underreporting numbers and moving money behind the scenes.

Without intensive audits on all the involved parties, we can only see so much.

Im sure the lawyers on the fighters side did their due diligence sir.
