Congratulations to Conor McGregor on 600 days of Prime Inactivity

one of the most exciting fighters of his era, who is in his athletic prime and should be busy defending titles, ruling his division, etc...and yet he remains on the sidelines for this long, and in the news because of his wealth, his mouth, and for behaving like a childish hooligan.

truly sad. hopefully he gets his shit together.
He’s just enjoying that cheddar that he thanked us for!

If you consider making 100 million dollars less than 10 months ago "wasting his prime", then sure.

the real question is how much of that he took home.

o bet it 50/50 that conor made more from ufc 205 than the Floyd fight

Now that he isn't champion anymore it isn't a big deal to me. My only problem is that Conor has been training for Khabib and he's getting an instant title shot as soon as he's ready.

if you really think he training for lhabib than your nuts.

as much as i hate on conor , why fight in the ufc where he was making 15ish million per fight after ppv revenue when he got close to 100 million to box. UFC can step their game up .

conor didn't take home 100 mill and his take home from ufc 205 was over 30 million

And what did he do to the champion? The Russian didn’t even have to fight the champ..
Aldo didn't retire before Conor got his title fight. If he did Conor wouldn't even be popular at this moment. He'd be just another dude who beat mini Mendes.
McGregor should pay it forward.

khabib cant help that tony doesn't know how to walk day before they fight. and don't give me he couldn't finish the guy that the clown show nysac allowed to fight. 50-43 is the biggest ass kicking in mma history.

If you look at the Forbes top paid list it reports Conor took home 99 Million in 2017. Considering the Floyd fight was the only fight that year it's safe to say he made just under 100 mil for that fight.

Floyd made 285 million from that fight for another perspective.

He made 100mil to fight 49-0 all-time boxing great Floyd Mayweather. It was a one time spectacle. Many believed he could actually knock him out. Nobody is clamoring for a rematch, and no other boxer would draw anywhere near that excitement after he got TKOd.

The UFC is where is belongs, he is a world class MMA fighter, not a boxer. It's where he can make the most money. Considering the lifestyle he likes to live he will probably need it at some point.

I don't begrudge him for stepping up to Mayweather and getting filthy rich, but It is unfortunate that he spent almost two years of his prime without a MMA fight.

His money won't last though. He can be another ''celebrity persona," like the male Kardashian and just stay rich on his image though.

At least he doesn't suffer more defeats. He's top 5, but wouldnt keep his record clean now that his aura is gone, too many killers at lw.

People keep saying that number... but they dont know how the fight game works. Any decent coach takes 10 percent. The promoter takes usually 30-40 percent. The people they spar with are flat fees. The venue takes a huge cut too. Stop parroting this conor made 100 million bullshit. You only sound dumb and uneducated in simple things... like math. Fucktard.

The worst part is he is going to be fighting into his late 30s and 40s
