Congrats to the war room

It's a great alternative to quoting someone for the sole purpose of saying, "I agree". If applied right, it should clean up the clutter. For instance, instead of writing this garbage, I could have just liked your post.

Exactly, this should minimize the cheerleading posts and encourage every new post to include some actual content. Sure we might get sucked into partisan "like" contests but let's not act like that wasn't happening all over the place already.

At least this way good posters will carry some reputation.

The reason wr is great is cos you can be anti-immigration and it won't get you banned like on some pussy mainstream forum, where some spineless coward got their feelings hurt.

I could go post a bunch of funny cat and dog videos in the berry and get my like count up.

Then I could come back to the war room and people should respect my likes.

Popularity contests just turns us into what we all hate. Politicians!

I hope I never get any likes from the degenerate slime that post here.

Thankfully, it's mostly liberals, so I think I'm safe.

That may have been true in the old forum, thanks to the new forum I can now passive aggressively "like" posts that agree with my viewpoint without subjecting myself to any of the rebuttal.

The likes can cheapen the discussion. Unlike before when some one posted "THIS" "Agreed" you can reply to that post and ask them why they agree.

So what do you think.? Maybe we can call out those who have liked posts?

This was a social experiment to see how quickly people would complain about "likes" and how quickly some idiot would passive-aggressively whine that because of conservatards or libtards they were sure no one would "like" their posts. Congratulations on winning on the second point Byron, you're the forum's resident baby.

I still don't understand what their thinking was on including a like system for the forum. Maybe getting rid of all the postwhoring by people just quoting and writing "this"? Seems poorly thought out, unless they're tracking our likes for marketing purposes.

I can save them the marketing costs if that's the case, find dick and fart jokebook advertisers to make millions.

I think Like is better than posters making "This" posts.
