Concept 2 Rower vs Schwinn Airdyne

Aren't you basing that on the completely retarded assumption that my gym uses the same model that he is?

Like who the fuck are you to tell me how a rowing machine works for me?
When someone mentions a "rower", 99% of the time they are referring to the C2. If your gym has some janky off-brand machine then it's up to you to specify it because everyone else will assume it's a C2.

lol@your salty temper.

I guess you never heard of that saying about assuming things.

Kind of like how you assumed I was using a specific brand of rower and how you assumed that I don't know what happens when I use said rower.

But keep playing like you aren't the asshole.

Yes, this is an internet forum- and people make assumptions in the absence of details by leaning on prevailing trends. If you said you lifted 2 plates, I would ASSUME you mean 225 just because that's how it's typically used. When people refer to rowers, it is almost always the C2.

Stop being so goddamn sensitive and emotional about it.

People who aren't idiots ask for clarifying information.

And I've never in my life been in a gym that uses that specific rowing machine model. So I don't know where the fuck you're getting those statistics besides your extra wide asshole.

I mean, you could just look at the thread title if you needed further clarification on the topic at hand. Onus was on you to specify the brand if it was ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE STANDARD. I realize now that not everyone has access to the C2 so I apologize for not checking my privilege. I will keep you in my prayers tonight so that you may one day know the pure bliss of fully extending your legs on a rower.

Guys, anyone using anything but a concept 2 is a scumbag. If your gym can't afford one, that's not our problem.

How does the c2 compare to the versaclimber?
I love the c2 but i like the fact the versaclimber takes less space.

imagine paying hard earned money to a gym to be greeted with a knockoff rower.
<DisgustingHHH>
Your only course of action in this situation is to pull a Karen and demand to speak to the manager immediately.

Versaclimber is decent, but inferior to the Airdyne and C2. You can't go high-intensity on it but it's good for long steady work. But it ranks up there with the elliptical and stair climber for mind numbing boredom.

I really dont do hiit i usually do 1 hr on the concept 2. I really am interested about the versaclimber because it takes up less space comapred to the areodine

My favorite workout with the C2 is the 500m row 1 min rest interval workout on the standard workouts. I do 10 rounds with different stuff in the 1 min rest. Most of the time I do 20 70 lbs kettlebell swings during the 1 min rest then hop back on the rower. If you keep the 500m under 2 mins with the swings its a great workout that only takes 30 mins and you get 5k of rowing and 200 swings.

I did a 5k tonight in 20mins 50secs. So averaging just over 2min per 500m.

Im a LW so yeah, that workout had me floored. I could probably push to beat 20mins when I keep practicing but don't think I'm physically capable to doing consistent 1.45/500m's like some geezers speak of.

I can run around the same pace for a 5k funny enough.
