TechAdvisor will post the video in this link once the stream goes live:

Engadget has already prepared their page:
https://www.engadget.com/2019/05/26/computex-2019-taipei/

Official Computex page:

Computex is the largest computer show of the year (CES is the other biggest tech show of the year, but is less focused on computers, and more broadly on tech):

This year is much more hotly anticipated then usual thanks to AMD, and all the leaks that have come out, especially the most recent ones, about their Ryzen 3000 CPU series launch. If what has been leaked is delivered Forbes is not exaggerating with this headline. This will be the biggest leap forward since Intel introduced its Core series (i3/i5/i7):

Can't wait for Ryzen.

It doesn't even have to be that magical for it to be a hot seller (300mhz all core increase from last gen + 5-7% IPC gain while having 2000 series prices is all it really needs). It's looking like it could potentially do all 3 all while increase the core count along each tier :eek:

Saw the Ryzen 1600 for $80 at Microcenter yesterday.

So Navi is about 10% faster than the 2070 in a game that already favored AMD? Meh.

It looks like Intel may have taken the lead back from AMD on notebook graphics at least as far as embedded APU side of things their 10nm notebook cpu is pretty good. One can only imagine how much it cost them to get back on track hiring talent left and right from AMD for huge money.

"
Intel is serious about getting back on track and competing in every single piece of the market and managed to beat the best of AMD notebook offering in graphics. The Gen 11 graphics inside of the Ice Lake-U 10nm notebooks that are scheduled to ship in holiday season 2019 are beating AMD Picasso 12nm Ryzen 7 3700U in 25W in graphics.

This important victory is the first time in history that Intel is winning in graphics. I have been following graphics for 20 years, and my first GPUs were Matrox Productiva G100 and NV4 Riva TNT in 1998, and since then, Intel never managed to win against AMD, until now. The benchmark chat that we got our hands-on shows that out of eight games and famous benchmarks Intel Gen 11 graphics wins in six of them.

15% IPC increase

3700x 65 watts, 3800x 105 watts

So far so good

Pretty, pretty good prices I'd say. 3800x roughly $100 cheaper than 9900k.

The 3700x is where I had my eye on from the leaks.
I’m currently using a 1700 at 3.8ghz all core. If the 3700x does a slight OC to 4.6ghz, I’m upgrading.
I wonder if the 3900x is two binned 3600x’s.

I might be getting that one as well

I always love posting this from time to time and I have always been a Ryzen fan because of when AMD got Jim Keller back in the fold at the time. Another ways AMD's IP is beyond even Intel but Intel spending a boatload on hiring and even doing potentially unthinkable and doing CPU deals with 3rd parties. Intel doing a lot of hiring and shifting of people who work on various aspects of the business. But Intel has its sights on Nvidia more then AMD but really does not want to give up CPU performance lead. Intel signed Jim Keller but it usually takes 3 years 2 of them with Jim working directly for the company to really get things going.

That didn't deliver to the letter of the leak, but it was damn exciting.

The 15% IPC gain matched the 13%-15% leaks exactly. That might prove to be the most critical feature delivered as this means Ryzen will likely challenge or exceed Intel on a clock-for-clock basis. The most significant inaccuracy from the leaks was on pricing/naming, and the most glaring absence is the deficit on the best turbo clock for any announced processor versus the leaks (4.6 GHz vs. 5.1 GHz in leaks) which suggests the glorious 5GHz barrier might still be a solid distance out of their reach:

One of those leaks/rumors comes from AdoredTV, which claims to have received the following product list from a tipster:
  • Ryzen 9 3850X—16C/32T, 4.3GHz to 5.1GHz, 135W TDP, $499
  • Ryzen 9 3800X—16C/32T, 3.9GHz to 4.7GHz, 125W TDP, $449
  • Ryzen 7 3700X—12C/24T, 4.2GHz to 5.0GHz, 105W TDP, $329
  • Ryzen 7 3700—12C/24T, 3.8GHz to 4.6GHz, 95W TPD, $299 [--> R9-3900X]
  • Ryzen 5 3600X—8C/16T, 4.0GHz to 4.8GHz, 95W TDP, $229 [--> R7-3800X]
  • Ryzen 5 3600—8C/16T, 3.6GHz to 4.4GHz, 65W TDP, $178 [--> R7-3700X]
  • Ryzen 3 3300X—6C/12T, 3.5GHz to 4.3GHz, 65W TDP, $129 [--> R5-3600X]
  • Ryzen 3 3300—6C/12T, 3.2GHz to 4.0GHz, 50W TDP, $99 [--> R5-3600]
Here was the real pricing announced by CEO Lisa Su at the keynote.

Even at $499 a 12c/24t processor with a 4.6 GHz peak turbo (that is 15% better per-thread than Zen+) is going to stiffly leach from the i9-9900K. The R5-3600 for $199 is going to be a slightly superior to the R5-2600X. But I think the meanest value of all there is the R7-3700X in the middle for $329. Looks to me like that one will have the best overclocking potential from the TDP and turbo. People will buy it to OC instead of the R7-3800X like they have with the R5-1600 or R5-2600 before.

The 16-core isn't being released, immediately, but the motherboard manufacturers have already confirmed it is on the way, and that they have had to prepare exceptional cooling that will provide up to 300W of power to the CPU VRM. That processor will be discussed in more detail at E3 in June. Fingers are crossed that the turbo adds at least +100MHz to the R9-3900X (for 4.7 GHz) because that appears to be how they're stepping the product line, and if it was also just $599 MSRP, instead of closer to the $799 TR-2950X, that would also be a huge win for consumers.

I wonder why they didn't announce the 3600 and 3600X during the presentation.
Dark, dark days ahead for Intel?

AMD Ryzen 9 CPU With 16 Zen 2 Core Overclocked & Tested in Cinebench, Faster Than i9-9980XE – 7nm Ryzen Threadripper HEDT CPUs Still Happening

So an engineering sample of the full-die 16-core CPU was overclocked on liquid. It was dynamically scaling between 4.1 GHz - 4.25 GHz. Given that it beat the $1800 i9-9980XE (really $2050) at stock we can confidently surmise that this turbo was across all cores, and wasn't the peak turbo. Exciting, but AMD already holds this value advantage for editors/streamers with the Threadripper series. What's really going to determine if AMD will take all of Intel's lunch money are those single thread scores. It would have been more exciting to see those.
