Shouldn't be forced to fight some nasty infectious fuck

they shouldn't be allowed considering staph is contagious. but athletic commissions hardly know how to do their jobs as it is let alone diagnosis somebody with an infectious disease lol.

It's gross as hell.
I don't get how that shit is allowed.
How does this get by the commission?

<{clintugh}>

And is their opponent notified of this? Not cool man.

Yes, it is gross.
But imagine if they pulled Conor versus Alvarez at the gardens because Conor had a cold sore on his lip...…. The outrage would be heard it the ISS.
People already whining when athletes have to have surgery and pull out of a fight....

The problem isn't Whitaker having surgery, it's the fact he ignored an ongoing problem knowing it could require surgery. And entered a fight camp and signed a contract knowing he has this problem. Dana admitted in an interview that it was an ongoing problem for Whitaker.

I've been out of the loop. Who has a staph infection?

Isnt catching brain damage worse than catching ringworm? (Its not staph)

Its a simple fungal infection that you wouldnt even see a dr for, treated with over the counter stuff. Sherdog is mortally afraid of cooties

You do realize that hernia's can be completely asymptomatic. Or rather the weakness in the abdominal wall can be asymptomatic. If you have that weakness, then you can cough and it can pop through. It's not a case of him struggling through the injury. It may not have even been noticeable up until the moment it hit.

They let staphed up Motown Phenom in the cage with El Cucuy

This is nothing new

Dana said he'd probably had the problem for quite some time but it only started causing him major discomfort in the last day or so

Only an imbecile would think it was a "fact" that he "entered a fight camp and signed a contract" puking his ring out every day

Gastelum himself said that is staph...

Pretty sickening really. I've seen some absolute horror shows of what staph can do, literally gaping holes in your body.

Fuck rolling with a guy like that.

But almost every human has staph on their skin just some get infected with it
