Killashaw seems more technical, but Garbrandt is just as effective at finishing fights via strikes. KO power narrows the gap often on superior strikers

Striking technique - Dillashaw
Offensive/defensive/counters - Dillashaw
Head movement - Dillashaw
Kicking - Dillashaw
Footwork - Dillashaw
Aggression - Tie
Ability to take damage - Debatable
Punching power - Garbrandt

I personally think Cody's power and aggression will give Cruz a lot more problems than he's been used to. Dillashaw doesn't have the type of punching power as Garbrandt, nor does he apply the type of pressure Garbrandt can. He's more methodical and measured, which is superior for most opponents, but not Cody.

I hate snake little bit more than neck tats but ssssnake definitely has better striking

This thread shows that around 95% of sherdog never trained striking.

Striking technique Garbrandt
Offensive/defensive/counters Garbrandt
Head movement Neither
Kicking Dillashaw uses more but falls down on headkicks a lot
Footwork Garbrandt
Aggression doesn't count
Ability to take damage Dillashaw
Punching power Garbrandt

Dillashaw.
Cody's main atribute's are handspeed and reflexes.

Dillashaw has that and more.

Dillashaw.

But Garbrandt has more power by far. He is like the Rumble Johnson of 135.

So while he is going to have a hard time hitting Cruz, if he lands Cruz is in trouble.

I think Garbrandt only has the power advantage, TJ wins the rest

Garbrandt. He has faster hand speed and more power, also better boxing. TJ has better kicks though ill give him that.

Everyone knows it's TJ. That being said, it's MMA. It's not because TJ was a better striker that Dominick will win; everyone has it's chance. All it takes is one punch while Dominick is moving. Statistically, it's very possible that Cody wins.

Dillashaw, hes the best striker in the division and yes that includes running man Cruz.

Sorry HI, but TJ is the better striker of the two. He's got better accuracy, lands more often, has more power, and has 5 times the finishes that Cruz does. In fact when Sherdog used to do the articles UFC Champions by the numbers which showed the stats of all the current UFC champs Dom always came in dead last in striking accuracy.

Now if you argued striking defense that's another story, but the stats don't lie on who's the better striker.

You don't even need to look at stats.

The eye test alone will show anybody that knows anything about striking that TJ is technically much better.

Dillashaw is literally one of the bttter overall strikers in the UFC with footwork included.
