Im sure he does good work, but no way I'm trusting his big ass on top of my roof.
He’s also in entertainment in Korea. He’s one fighter I can think where his country actually appreciates him even in not being a champion in MMA. He’s winning in life though.Yup… saw it the other day at a convenience store (Korean company) in Vietnam.. I think someone recently posted that KZ opened a restaurant in Seoul too. He seems to be doing well.
Box Jake Paul or burr knuckle it with Mike Perry
Yup… I see him, stun gun, and Akiyama a lot on ads and variety shows (I live Korea). Glad to see them doing well in life after fighting and seeing the Korean fans support despite their wins and losses. He’s also in entertainment in Korea. If I lived in Maine, I would call up big Timmy. That would be sweet. Why not? Why hire a regular roofer when you can hire Timmy.
I guarantee he wears his old UFC title belt while roofing.
His retirement even in a loss was probably the best in MMA, his last fight wasn’t even in his home country but was revered & it was such a contrast to Glovers depressing retirement to a empty arena in his home country, Glover would’ve had a better appreciation had he retired in America.Yup… I see him, stun gun, and Akiyama a lot on ads and variety shows (I live Korea). Yeah.. glover’s was sad… I agree, kz had a very heart fwarming retirement.. loved his final walkout. His retirement even in a loss was probably the best in MMA, his last fight wasn’t even in his home country but was revered & it was such a contrast to Glovers depressing retirement to a empty arena in his home country, Glover would’ve had a better appreciation had he retired in America.
If we’re tracking former UFC fighters who went on to medical careers, can’t forget Zabit! Also, since you brought up a stuntman, I believe Marlon Sims went the same route.Random Jobs some former fighters got:
Carlos newton: medic
Thiago Tavares: medic
Phillip nover: nurse
Jay hieron: stuntman
There's also that Very hyped bellator hw fighter who was lesnar's training partner that retired to work with a milk Company If im not wrong
Also two other guys that i also don't remember the name (one died this year also) who went to porn
Sure, normal jobs for ”normal people”. You have to pay the bills somehow!true, but those are all name fighters. what does the no-name ufc fighter who no longer fights do after fighting? i'd think they do normal jobs like the rest of us.
Ran into Lance... Benoist? Something like that. He retired because his injuries were costing more to heal than the UFC was paying him. If I remember correctly, he's in landscaping or something now.true, but those are all name fighters. what does the no-name ufc fighter who no longer fights do after fighting? i'd think they do normal jobs like the rest of us.
Dustin Hazellet is an EMT medic now too.Random Jobs some former fighters got:

You also made me remember Royce Gracie got became a reserve law enforcement officerIf we’re tracking former UFC fighters who went on to medical careers, can’t forget Zabit! Also, since you brought up a stuntman, I believe Marlon Sims went the same route.
One thing I have not yet seen mentioned: law enforcement, where Johny Hendricks and Jimmie Rivera ended up.
That's exactly it. For example, what does the retired fighter do AFTER a long, satisfying career in real estate, following their UFC career? The guy's in his 60s. Probably not too bad off. Maybe the local Safeway as a cashier to pass the hours. Maybe the local hardware store! The possibilities are endless. After post-UFC career? Retired fighters 2nd job after quitting UFC?
