Many cell phones allow you to schedule texts for the future. After younwrute the message, if there are options (you might have to hit the back button once to see it) from the options available, if you see "Schedule text" you can schedule it for a time you want it to be sent. It's useful for when you think of something, but feel it's not a good time to text, and might forget to do it later.


Apparently iPhones don't seem to have this feature. But maybe some version does.

Put a cylume/glowstick into a bottle of water and you have an instant lamp for your tent or if partying somewhere without lights.

Another trick is if you need to boil water but only have a plastic water bottle and no pot/container
