Almost done with Y: The Last Man. I love it, it's freaking fantastic. How is this not a mini-series on AMC or something yet? It would translate over perfectly.

Read Kingdom Come, it was pretty good but a little overhyped and a little hard to follow. Not saying it was bad, but fell a little short of the amazingness that had been expected.

I think a book like Kingdom Come might lose some of its shine when read as a tpb.
I remember reading it and could not freaking wait for the next issue to come out.
The Billy Batson cliffhanger at the end of one of the issues was GoT Episode 9 powerful.

I've come to accept that I don't really enjoy comics with a bunch of characters/team up.

I don't really enjoy X Men/Kingdom Come/JLA.

The only one I enjoy is Ultimates by Millar.

I'm reading Kingdom Come now, first 2 volumes and not sure I'll finish it. Definitely overhyped for me.

The ending for Y:TLM is a bit of a let down. I was half expecting it near the end, so that was OK, and it's still a good read. But the ending is not as great as it could/should have been.

So I read Doom Comes to Gotham #1, a pretty typical Mignola story but using Batman's universe set back to the 20's. Awesome. I doubt I'm going to shell out another $100 to finish it tho.

I'm halfway thru Fear Agent. I think its great but I've come to the conclusion that Sci-Fi isn't my favorite comic genre.

For god's sake, return the floppy and say it was defective. It's insane to pay $50 for a single floppy.

Nah, I couldn't do that; that baby was mint. It was obvious that it was never even opened. I just goofed. I've spent more on a single issue before I just didn't realize I was doing it this time. Also, I had gift certificates from a b-day and Christmas. I was able to get Fear Agent, Triumph and Torment, and a few books for free and only wound up paying for this issue so I'm still up.

You're a good consumer, Charlie Brown. And commerce thanks you.

They've made a comic based on the 60's Batman? Is it set out like the show used to be?

Liking the Teen Titans - Deathstroke cover.

Marvel NOW! or DC's New 52

Man that's a tough one...but since I'm following more series from Marvel NOW it wins by default.....52 has been good as well but I just couldn't get into some of the titles.

I read Judge Dredd: the Pit, i think that is the best Dredd Comic i has read yet.
I also read Huntress, Suicide Squad and the Birds of Prey and i regret that i spend my Money on this three.
I started with Preacher now and i like it a lot.

(Ot: my Kindle Fire don't have enough Memory Space to Save New Stuff, does anyone know if it is possible to enhance the Memory space?)

Maybe its because I don't really like that the new 52 basically did a complete reboot of series , where as Marvel NOW! while fresh doesn't do a complete retcon, and the two characters I really like, Thor and the Hulk have really solid runs right now with Thor:God of Thunder , Written by Jason Aaron and Illustrated wonderfully by Esad Ribic. and Indestructible Hulk written by Mark Waid with the first 5 issues illustrated by Lenil Francis Yu and the most recent ones Walter Simonson who I'm a big fan of

skimpy day at the comicshop. i walked away with the new issue of Thor which was great and walking dead which is moving the story along. after i dropped the bendis and hickman books and several other marvel titles i like are being cancelled i'm left with only cap, thor, ironman, uncanny avengers and thunderbolts. i hope Thor is still good after the artist change. thunderbolts is getting a new creative team so who knows. after reading solicits for the next hulk arc i'm dropping it also.

anyone here read Ferals? i like the idea of a horror/werewolf comic but i haven't been impressed by the david lapham stuff i've read so far.

Shame on you for not reading Scarlet Spider and Daredevil. And Harbinger Wars continues being the best on-going story in comics that no one is talking about.
