Just read it, it's not bad.

Looks like some of the art was scanned in and stretched though.

So many of these new Marvel titles are destined to be cancelled. Vision? Hercules?

Hulk is an Asian dude now? Marvel is sooo thirsty.

There are a dozen of gamma irradiated Hulks running around, red, green, grey. Double if you count all the chick versions.

Amadeus Cho as the modern Hulk was bound to happen, considering how if you're a genius/scientist not named Tony Stark who hangs around Bruce Banner much at all, you're going to end up Hulking out.

are we bashing Marvel, if so I'm in!

let me know tho

Mile High Comic Closing HQ ... due to the Pots

If you don't know, Mile High Comics is one of the hugest retailers and they're closing down their HQ because legal marijuana has driven their real estate value through the roof. They were made an offer they couldn't refuse and so are relocating to a smaller outlet. Must have been the bags of cash. Or the fact the owner was a huge stoner and "Mile High" ain't a reference to Denver.

Why do I bother with telling you any of this?

There is a sale involved.

Secret War #7 is out.

Spoilers & Opinions

1. Whole plot feels really rushed.

2. Sinister & Captain Marvel plot to betray Doom is never really fully explained. Just felt like there was more interaction between these two prior to this event.

3. Again, most if not all the survivor somehow managed to rally everyone against Doom in one or two panels. Ex. Jane Foster with the Thors Corps, Maximus and his army, Cap. Marvel with Sinister, etc.

4. Cliffhangers from last issue totally ignored: Thanos & Thing , Both Spider Man with Molecule Man.

I've been waiting for Bendis' Uncanny X-Men 600 to cut ties with Marvel.
It was delayed for months so Marvel could get their Secret Reboot out of the way.
What a colossal disappointment. Not only was the finale all over the place, but they used multiple artists which only takes away from any story. THEN, the "double issue" isn't really a double issue either; the back half is a lame ass Iceman story. And it wasn't even the Iceman is gay story, which was handled well, it stunk of some story that was left around for decades and they decided to squeeze it into this book. And the cover even sucked.

Goodbye Marvel.

Alex Ross is all out of fucks to give.

Marvel dipped when Bendis left Avengers.

Hickmans plot was to convoluted and took to long to conclude. Albeit some of it was good.

Story was very rushed. Had me for a moment but it's lost me

Anybody read Black Hole?

Its pretty amazing, imo. Basically it's about an STD that only teens get that causes any number of weird mutations like making them look like a zombie, except they don't actually die. Festering boils. Just general mutant-face, etc.

That's only part of the story. It's really quite an accomplishment. Kinda feels like something Alan Moore would have done a long time ago before he got so full of himself.

Superman American Alien #1, guys its a good read, Max Landis is doing a 7 issues series on Superman's origins, and #1 is a great start. His humanizing story telling is really good, there's a lot of charm in it

I thought it was good, if you like origins stories that focus on certain aspects of a character it's a good one

Ok, been out of comics for a while, can anyone give me a brief rundown on what is going on.

I know they had some shit with multiple universes with multiple heroes all running around together. Doom was the leader. Someone was trying to kill all the versions of some of the characters.

What has happened since then?

DC and Marvel did pretty much the exact same thing this summer. You don't need to know much except if you read Spider-Man because now he owns a successful international tech company like Tony Stark. And they integrated the Ultimate universe to some degree.

Seriously, it was all gibberish. You're not missing anything.
