The current Superman run with Romita Jr. has been quality. Also looking forward to Ivan Reis doing a new Cyborg book.

I have the first issue but wasn't sure if Johns was still on it or not. He only did 8 issues which isn't a lot. Not even 2 arcs.

If I remember correctly, months back this was pushed as a "big" title. Art and Pencils combo.

Read Black Market #1. Pretty great so far.

Dude kidnaps a superhero and tries to take his blood so it can be used by others.

Johns did 32 thru 40, now Some guy named Yang started on #41. Makes me wonder how long JRJr. is gonna continue with Supes.

Edit: also wish Marvel would lure Johns back to them.

Okay so after reading Superman #40 and #41 and doing some research seems like Johns cleaned up some mishaps by previous writers and giving a balance to the new 52 Superman and Pre-Flashpoint era. That's good cause some of the changes were a bit crappy. Also some things going on with his powers from the previous battle. Half of Superman #40 is a Justice League issue, and JR Jr. writes Batman a bit lighthearted rather than the usual cold with Superman, there's some funny light moments of Clark's new vulnerabilities in the issue which make it pretty good. #41 shifts to an adventure and team up with Olsen and Lane, some mystery and suspense is built.

I like it and I recommend it.

We are Robin #1 was so-so, we'll see where it goes

Prod, Romita is just drawing it. He's hasn't gotten any writing credits thus far with Superman. I'm not quite sure why Johns run is already over. It was just getting good. Hopefully Yang continues the momentum built so far.

I like the newer, vulnerable Superman.

Finally finished AvX. Great story. Almost on par with Civil War. I think had Civil War never been written this would be the definitive Marvel storyline for me.

Also copped the Death of Wolverine collected edition for 4.99 on digital. Marvel has been having some great digital sales lately. Right now they are doing some collections for $2.99 for SDCC.

The tie ins. The avengers new avengers tie ins are written so damn well by Bendis.

Same with Secret Invasion. Bendis tie ins are masterfully done.
