Finished up the whole Court of Owls story. Got to say, really enjoyed it beginning to end.
 
Just picked up Brian K Vaughan's We Stand On Guard. Good shit. BKV goes post-apocalyptic/dystopian again only with war instead of bio-catastrophe like we saw in Y. Great concept with little historical nuances and lots of context clues as to the world we're watching.

From what I remember (gets Infinity off the shelf)...
Black Panther hated having Namor around when the Illuminati were reformed and threatened to kill him for the Phoenix stuff after everything with other Earths was over. Queen Shuri didn't know they were working together and wanted to kill him now. So Panther keeps Namor busy while Atlantis is completely destroyed.

When Thanos and friends show up they arrive in what is left of Atlantis and Namor says they can find the Infinity Gems in Wakanda. So the Black Order comes to Wakanda and start killing but get defeated by the Illuminati & Avengers.

Later when Namor reforms the Cabal they take Wakanda over as home base, killing the Queen (the world is happy to give it to them as payment for saving the world over and over).

I'm waiting. Gonna finish the Time Runs Out stuff after I'm done with the Ultimates run that has Reed Richards and The City.

And then to top it off he murks Dr. Strange for calling him out on being scared of 616 Reed. I wonder if his Godlike power has made him aware of 1610 Reed?

Did anyone notice in Ultimate End that when Dr. Green "hulked out", he goes from new look to classic look? He hulked out so hard he lost his goatee and grew his Mohawk out. Way to drop the ball Bagley. 1610 Fury better be the one that makes it to the new MU.

IDK, but that shit was insanely confusing with Doc Green hulking out.

I totally read Fury-1610 yelling at everyone in Samuel L Jackson's voice. It was awesome.

I'm not familiar with Reed-1610 except what I read in the Time Runs Out storyline. What's his deal? Seems powerful.

Was that our lovable goofball Hawkeye-616 from the Hawkeye series (best Marvel comic of the past couple years) who got zapped by the Thors in Ultimate End? Because if it was, bullshit. Even if Hawkeye-1610 is a much more powerful superhero.

1610 Reed is the equivalent of 616 Doom only smarter. I do believe that in fact was 616 Hawkeye. Too bad.
 
So anyone else hitting San Diego Comic Con this year? Got my 4 day pass and my note that lets me bypass lines (lololololol!!! Hall H will be a fifteen minute wait, muahahahahahaha).

Wasn't MM created by the Beyonders and booby-trapped? That is how/why all the universes were blowing up, right? 616 MM was aware of this and sacrificed himself, hence the statue in his honor on BW.

Or at least that's how I remember it going down.
