If you do it, I'll do it.

Aim for the bushes.

No, Old man Logan story happened before and when all timelines and universes crumbled at the end of New Avengers Time Runs Out, doom, molecule man and DR. Strange rebuilt Battleworld with pieces of those timelines.

So in essence the original old man Logan storyline didn't happen in Battleworld even though that domain is apart of battle world.

The reader still hasn't seen how doom and the others constructed Battleworld. And we still don't know if any Beyonders exist. This will come over time I'm thinking.

See....here is where I'm even getting lost. In the original OML errbody died including Thor, but in BWOML #1 he clearly references the "Thors". Yet in #2 he asks a Thor who they were before getting sent into AoA zone. Am I missing something?

The comic guy i talked to said. OML is on bw but he doesn't know what's going on with the rest of the world. Remember he had to be explained alot by hawkeye.

Battle world has different domains. I don't think OML was saved when bw was created. I think he is part of that

Well I had a theory, but the inconsistency between issue 1 and 2 kinda threw a monkey wrench in it.

Like has been stated, issue #1 touched upon the "Thors", the wall, and the worlds problems being Doom's job to solve. Which leads one to believe that it's status quo on BW.

Then issue #2 comes and OML doesn't recognize one of the very same "Thors" he talked about in the first issue.

My theory was that OML was under the impression that Doom had just took up where the Red Skull left off and walled off the country, but issue two screwed that up.

Still good reading though.

Did you read future imperfect secret wars?

No I havent.

Like I said to DoughBelly before, I picked up a bunch of the number 1's but Future Imperfect wasn't one of them.

I have the Marvel Unlimited App so that and everything else will be on there. I heard it's been very good so ill def read that when its available.

Plus there are so many more #1's to come out throughout the summer.

I know this might be a stretch but is there anyone on here who is currently reading "Shang Chi Master of Kung Fu???" It's a Secret Wars tie-in. I wanna pick this up but dont lol.

That scene in OML 2, at the very beginning, with him and the female Thor could be taken in different ways.

But I'm fairly certain OML does know about the Thors patrolling Battleworld.

Dammit. Am I the only one not reading a line of SW, waiting for the collected edition?

Just finished justice League 41. It was fucking good. Looking forward to this Darkseid vs anti monitor showdown.

Read empty zone 1. Wasnt much to it. Girl with robotic limbs that can see ghosts. It's kind of cool but I'll give it one more issue to really catch me

I'm reading E is for Extinction right now and this art blows.

I'm always amazed when Marvel hires shitty artists to do shitty art for their comics. There are tons hundreds, if not thousands of artists waiting for their shot at the major publishers and instead, we're subjected to this shit.

My problem isn't with the style. For something like Manhattan Projects, squiggly art fits the theme and adds to the story.

Want to know why She-Hulk didn't sell? Because me, as a She-Hulk fan, am not going to put up with Javier Pulido's art. Seriously, is there anyone who actually thinks that guy can draw? His art is shit. His perspectives are crap. The guy can't represent three dimensions or draw the human body for shit.

They're comic books. The art matters. /rant

Looking at Aquaman #41, this book is gonna suffer the same fate. Ivan Reis and Paul Pellitier put him on the "A" list. This new team is gonna make him "C" level again (Pun Intended).

I'm old school. John Byrne, Art Adams, Neal Adams, George Perez were the guys I was brought up on. I was never into the gritty, squiggly art that seems to be the rage nowadays. Slowly but surely though, some of that type of art started fitting the feel of the stories being told. Adlard's Walking Dead, Maleev's/Samee's Daredevil, Aja's Hawkeye to name a few. But there are just some guys being used that have NO business being in the majors. Villalobos is a poor man's Frank Quitely trying to do in E for Extinction what Quitely did for New XMen.

I'm still a die hard traditional comic art fan, but if the art and story match up in feel, I can look past bad art. It doesn't happen often enough though. Oh well, Aquaman had a good run.

Read Prophet Vol 1.

Didn't like and will not read the rest. Too vague for me and some of the art was hard to comprehend.

That's why I didn't pick it up.

Read future imperfect

No way, man! Javier Pulido is great! I think HUMAN TARGET is a better fit for the kind of look he's got, due to its impressionistic themes. It needs to be non-realistic in order to sell the idea of a guy who perfectly masquerades as other people.

While I've not read the latest incarnation of SHE-HULK, she has always been cast in the same light as the CATHY comics but from a male perspective. I think any artist there, not named John Byrne, would have an uphill battle.

But I bet the way you feel about Pulido is the same way I feel about Paul Grist. Yes, art does certainly matter.

picked up secret wars prelude due to everyone praising the new secret war series....

have no fucking clue whats going on. anyone care for a brief rundown? all I know is doctor doom defeated super power and is now omnipotent and shit and molecule man is rallying some baddies for something.

Basically all the Marvel Universes died with 616 and and 1610 being the last two. It appears Doom, Strange, and Molecule Man then create Battleworld from the ashes. If you really want to be in the know read all of the latest volumes of Avengers and New Avengers.

Leaked covers to the "new" Marvel U.

Some interesting ideas in there, as well as some baaaaad ones. Random thoughts:

-May grab a few titles despite thinking I was done with Marvel.
-So Hulkling (or Red Hulk) is taking over the Hulk mantle until this whole event is disregarded.
-Is that Cardiac with the Ultimates? If so, I'm in!
-If Venom: Spaceknight's art is like that cover to cover I might give it a go.
-half a dozen Spider books, yikes.
-Why reboot Spider-Gwen, Ms. Marvel, and Howard the Duck?
-Uncanny Avengers looks like shit. Is Quicksilver wearing pajamas?
-X-Books are being kept after all, Ramos on Extraordinary? I'm in!
-Karnak looks the most interesting, how far will Marvel let Ellis go? Hope the interior art doesn't suck shit.
-Kevin Wada only doing covers fucking sucks. If he did the interior to Scarlet Witch I'd give it a go.
-Prolly pick up Squadron Supreme. If it gets close to Supreme Power level I'll be happy as hell.
-Bachalo on Strange? MMmmmmmaybe.
-All the rest are shit.

Are Guardians 3000 and Squirrel Girl being cancelled?
