I've never read any X-Men, are there any prior issues I should read to get caught up?

There's too many backstories for you to read if you were to catch up, so I don't recommend that route. But the good thing about Whedon's Astonishing X-Men is it pretty much works on its own. Sure there are a lot of baggage in it but they make sure new readers will easily understand the situation and history.

Oh one day I am going to tackle ALL backstory so help me god

I will read all 700 amazing spider-mans and every other series on this damn app!

You also need to read Rick Remender's Uncanny X-Force after you read Morrison's New X-Men and Whedon's Astonishing X-Men. Those are pretty much the best modern runs on X-books you'll ever read.

The crazy part is that the three runs u named are all damn good but Morrisons Xmen pisses on the competition.

should I read age of apocalypse first or can I go back to that later?

AoA should work as a stand alone, just like Kingdom Come, but just like Kingdom Come, part of AoA's awesomeness is identifying the significance of the changes in the characters.

Just picked up Multiversity Thunderworld and man is it awesome! I loved the classic lightheartedness of this story, and Dr. Sivana was so funny. All of it brought some pretty cool moments overall.

Next week it's Gotham by Midnight 2 and Superman 37

Thunderworld was indeed awesome. Wish we could get an on-going of it.

Are House of M & Civil War worth reading? I read the free iTunes samples and iTunes has a bunch. Not even sure which to read in what sequence. There are so many Civil War collections on iTunes: Spidey, Ironman, X-Men, New Avengers?

Can you drag & drop from iTunes to computer to read on computer?

What's the Marvel iTunes app like? Can you read all you want for free or is it subscription or pick & choose which to pay for?

How come Hulk always seems to get the best of Juggernaut when Juggernaut should be immune to literally anything Hulk could do to him?

PED's and the writers

I mean there's not a good explanation for it, scientifically speaking

The Hulk is the strongest of all? Juggernaut kinda comes off as a jobber even though his power range is ridiculous.

You mean PIS?

Because Hulk is purely strength based and Juggernaut is mystical. No amount of strength is gonna overcome Cyttorak's power.

I know. It's really stupid. Realistically, Hulk could be in a rage at "World Breaker" levels and based on Juggy's power set, Hulk still shouldn't be able to affect him in the slightest.

But World War Hulk knocked Juggernaut off course. Hella stupid. PIS!

Juggernaut gave up the gem that powered him iirc. He begged to take it back but cyttorack basically trolled him and limited his strength.

I haven't read the comics in awhile but didn't Hulk just uses Juggernauts momentum to toss him out NYC?

Juggy was in a full on sprint and Hulk hit him in the head with a big shot which knocked him off course and sent him into a lake.

But that's dumb because nothing (other than cosmic or mystical powers) should affect Juggernaut's momentum or direction.

Yeah, at some point Colossus picked up the gem and became Juggernaut Colossus.

But I believe most of Juggy's fights with Hulk were when he had the gem.

WWH was when he begged cyttorack to make him the juggernaut again. Then hulk beat the shit out of him.

Oh ok, so then he wasn't full blow Juggy at that time? I guess that makes sense.

The only other time Hulk could, should, and did beat Juggernaut was when he was War Hulk (powered by Apocalypse's celestial tech). That was legit.

Otherwise, a gem'd Juggernaut should spank Hulk as badly as Zeus did. (As long as it's not War Hulk)
