Less than half.

Not too happy with all this, appears they're off on weekends as well.

Stories > continuity.

It's silly to worry about continuity in a genre like superhero comics where you can have multiple writers using the same characters across multiple books at the same time. Not to mention the headache inducing sliding timescales. I'm glad Didio recently said DC is going in a new direction which focuses exclusively on storytelling instead of continuity.

i think it's good too, continuity for giant universes like marvel and dc get to difficult and confusing to keep up with for such long periods

Eternal then end game. Not to sure about batman and robin.

Eternal then end game. Not to sure about batman and robin.

In the last recent issue of Endgame, Bane, Killer Crock, Scarecrow, Poison Evy, and Cobble Pot just showed up to team up with Batman. These are the same villains that are About to wreak havoc in Eternal. So I guess they weren't stopped in Eternal? What the fuck? And in Eternal, Batman visited Ras, and he was in a hospital bed, still fucked up from the " Robin Omega" issue. So that means there is a super powered Robin doing absolutely nothing in Eternal?

If you are a fan of crime fiction/noir do yourself a favor and read Scalped.

I've got one more trade to go but I can't imagine it imploding with the quality of storytelling so far.

I picked up Southern Bastards Vol 1 from Image comics and written by Jason Aaron this past week.

Anyone get into this yet. Not sure if I remember anyone talking about it.

In the past 3 weeks I've been reading many a book.

- Finished the Gotham Central series, Books 3 and 4. Some very good stuff. My favorite case of the series would probably be the Two-Face story with Dead Robins being a pretty close second. The end of the series is kinda out of nowhere, outside of knowing you are at the end of the book.
- And months after buying the first book I got Ultimates 2: Ultimate edition and read both of them in a week and mostly at work. You can clearly see all the stuff they took and put in the movies (Joss Whedon writing the foreword well before doing the movies was funny). The Thor arc over both books was my favorite part, I did call it at the start but was second guessing myself on numerous occasions. That Hank Pym, what a guy. Don't want to go into spoilers and what not, so go and check it out. The commentary from Millar and Hitch in the back was good stuff, made me look back and take note on a great deal of stuff I had missed.

If you like the Ultimates and You enjoy Mark Millars writing id suggest reading his run on Wildstorms Authority. Hell, just read the entire thing starting with Warren Ellis's amazing first arc.

It's like the Ultimates just on steroids and cocaine.
