Anyone named Brody has balls. His balls will be missed.

Suicise is the worst way to go. Know your limits at the gym, folks.

I'm terrified of heights lol. If I ever decided too off myself hanging would definitely be the way i'd go.

*rim shot*

Couldn't resist, but seriously, never heard of this guy. Watched some random clips on Youtube. He seemed a little schitzo. Saw this clip of him on a podcast, where he was talking about becoming some life coach for MLB players, and the hosts were picking on him and calling out his obvious lies about connections he had, and he took offense to it and stormed off. Without the suicide, I would think he was just messing around and trying to create a scene, but now, I think he might've had a screw or two loose.

Fuckkkkkkkkkkkk. I went numb reading that. Wasn't a big fan of his work, but was very familiar with him. He had some demons. Its a shame. =( RIP

Why do so many choose to commit suicide by hanging? Seems like a horrible way to die

Most people have something to hang themselves with. It does seem like a horrible way to die but when the suicidal thoughts take over, I dont think that's the concern.

I remember he was on Rogan back in the quite early days, and he had a short docu-series about himself.

Weird dude but actually quite funny.

Damn that’s really sad. I remember listening to his podcasts maybe ten years ago or so.

He was clearly a damaged person but his whole shtick was pretty entertaining and clever. The first couple times you heard him you’d think he was some kind of autistic horrible comedian but then you realized he was doing this kind of meta-shtick that was a bit him too.

So many people who died by suicide are described in their obituaries as the life of the party. It seems that they hide behind a mask of being too happy.

Don’t think I’ve ever heard this guy’s comedy. Either way, sad shit. Suicide is a sneaky cunt. Talk to someone, homeys. Don’t do it. RIP

Fuck man, I remember hearing him talk about about his demons on Rogan's podcast, and then watching him on his his Comedy Central show. I honestly thought the "offness" was just part of his shtick. This is hitting me hard...

I hate to hear anybody killing themselves. Literally have no idea who he is or what he was going through but i'm really sorry to hear it.

If anybody on this forum has considered or is considering suicide please know that I care about you. People care about you. You are valuable and there is hope.

This shit hit me right in the feels. I have been going through my own mental health battle and Brody was one of my favorite comedians. He did a whole series on comedy central about his struggles. He did a live stream a few days ago where he was talking about having anxiety issues and was experiencing physical symptoms while trying to wait for the medication to kick in. It takes about a month to six weeks for meds to kick in and he had been off of them for over 6 months trying to heal but he couldn't do it and had to get back on the meds. I am going through the same experiences and I was gutted to hear he hung himself before he could get back to a normal way of life. He was apologizing to everyone on the stream for having to get back on meds and everyone was just telling him how much they loved and cared about him and reminded him of how many fans and friends he had. He thanked everyone by saying he needed to hear that stuff at this time and signed off. Mental health is a battle nothing could have ever prepared me for and I am grateful to be doing much better since I got on meds and started therapy. I am really saddened whenever I hear about someone losing their battle. RIP Brody.
