Colby's antics are the main reason for his terrible performance

I mean he's the same size as Tony Ferg who is one of the bigger LW's in UFC history

And here is an article detailing his health problems https://www.mmamania.com/2023/12/15...ufc-296-after-brain-injury-during-mma-absence
Tony one of the biggest LW's? He looks smaller than most of his opponents... And Colby is definitely nowhere near his size.

Still not convinced about the brain injury, though head trauma is usually cumulative. I'd just give way more weight to his age than that.

yeah there was alot of people like myself saying that Colby's style simply does not work the same against 32 year old champs in their prime as it does against 40 year old Lawler, Woodley and Masvidal.

Colby would only ever win a belt in the geriatric leagues. Spamming takedowns on old men is his specialty, and he discovered that when he tried to double leg Leon and realized his knees weren’t shot to bits.

Still wondering what CC's gameplan was, usually he comes forward with non stop pressure and wrestling as his outside striking game isnt going to win him fights. Seemed to be happy to coast to a UD loss until the 5th.
This.
And his interview in the cage kind of strengthened this impression... he should have went for the win at all costs, even if risking to get knocked out.
