Randy couture kept cardio and pressure up to a late age. Colby should do what he wants except hold a rank hostage. It's ridiculous you can gap out fights a year at a time and pick favorable fight to keep rank or even gain it.

Yeah but Randy was a late starter, and at about 12 years into his career he rapidly started looking old and increasingly washed up.

Colby is 12 years into his career. Barring him hopping on a different.....supplement regimen.....I think its too late for a career resurgence.
