Colby Should Just Retire

Nah he can probably still win fights vs Wonderboy, a fight that makes sense now, and big name 55ers. Maybe call pit Masvidal for a rematch.

He makes a big paycheck, no reason to retire.
 
These guys don't get paid enough to just retire at age 36, you know Colby hardly fights right?

If he was more active, he could've escaped with a couple bags and rode off into the sunset. Now he'll be fighting till the wheels come off :(
 
Maybe he should fight Wonderboy and retire. There aren't many guys his age left. Lawler, Matt Brown, Condit, etc. all retired. Wonderboy is in the same boat.

He might have a chance against MVP, who can't sprawl as well as Buckley. But retirement is probably his best option.
 
Colby fell off hard. When you go from life and death fights against the champion, to talk of him fighting other guys who should consider retirement says all that needs to be said.
 
He's been so inactive. I think the confidence and comfort level in there is what's lacking.

He seemed to pressure more in that 3rd.

He is too small, skinny, ugly and can't talk for shit.

He's going to be selling cars within a few years.

The UFC pays ~15% of revenue to fighters, and that is lopsided towards the top. Colby hasn't made any real money in the sport. I have a doubt he'll retire until they cut him.
 
Buckley was ragdolling Colby's little weak body when it went to the ground. Buckley was basically doing what he wanted with him, he didn't even have a scratch on his face.

I think Colby should have retired a couple years back he's awful.

lmao yeah well I'm not saying that it is objectively good, but it does get the attention of people.

If he was winning fights he would have a lot of people watching to see him lose and some unironically supporting him.

But with his recent performances and age it will be hard to reignite the career imo. He'll have to go with the "I stepped in one short notice and the doctor unnecessarily stopped the fight" to save a bit of face but he's got a lot of work to do even then.

He can fight Wonderboy or Dustin like he wanted. Those are good fights for him. He's done as a guy at the top of the division. The UFC is done protecting him.
