Good for him, in a earlier embbedded Edwards had to turn down his mama's cooking from her resturant because he was making weight. Truthfully I'd rather diet down then rehydrate up to a bigger stronger me.

despite the disdain for...."people" who enjoy well done steak, im guessing Jorge thought it wasnt worth catching more charges. Colby is punishing himself, in a way.

I eat well done steak, and I'm ashamed of myself every time I do it.

In general, the better the meat, the more raw it can be.
I've seen people eat raw meat and nothing happened but we're talking about meat coming from their own animals, fed with the right natural things, and so on.
If the quality of the meat isn't proven...hell no, the maximum I can accept is slightly pink in the middle. TOPS!
And vice versa, if the meat is top-notch, I don't mind eating the "red middle".

No it’s not. By cooking a steak past medium you remove the fat, moisture, and tenderness which are the qualities that make steak so amazing.

Nothing wrong with steak tartare either. Raw isn’t my preferred way but it’s good. A medium rare ribeye is my favorite by far

That could actually be the reason he’s eating it cooked so well. How many times have fighters gotten sick from food while cutting weight and had to pull out? Fighters immune system is usually weak at the end of a camp
leading to fight week.

Man, what kind of meat are you eating that you can't eat a medium rare steak without worry of it harming you?

Is this a thing in America? That you might be at a restaurant where you can't trust a medium rare steak not to poison you? I live in Canada, and over here this is patently NOT a thing.
