Media Colby Covington's broken jaw (picture)

Well it really isn't as bad as were making it out to be. At least it didnt separate from the upper mandible which is what I was expecting.

Hate him but wish him a fine recovery

The "upper mandible" is called the maxilla...

I was cringing every time usman touched colbys face after the third.

off topic, did Brendan Schaub get his jaw broken in the Andre arlovski fight?

Fighting a stand-up war with a broken jaw in the championship rounds is pretty legit. I'll give him that much.

I had thought he definitely had it wired shut but it's sher- reporting and my fault for taking it at face value.
You didnt say wrong or assume bullshit. I wasnt trying to sound smug or like an all knowing prick and if I came off as such I apologize. I just had to experience that horrible injury and that feeling of terror when you wake up with your teeth clamped down and the inability to catch that breathe you so desperately need. I got the flu while my teeth were wired and my ex had to cut them open with wire cutters because I puked and was drowning in my own vomit. I wouldnt wish that on any man, including Colby

Yet you jerk off to CTE inducing injuries in other occasions.

You hypocrite.

Not even that bad lol, just a small fracture

If it was broken then he would've crumpled to the ground in pain immediately

Far from the greatest display of toughness we've seen
Fractured and broken are the same, ya donk, there's just degrees of severity to a fracture

Here is an x-ray of the other side:

It isn’t that bad
It’s not displaced
Away from the joint
Still a fractured jaw though
I’d say it’s testament to Colby’s heart more than his toughness I mean he knew his jaw was broken he knows that’s a serious injury and he still risked it

I dont mind watching people get harmed badly, the aftermath is what actually bothers me. The repercussions are always much worse than the initial damage. I do enjoy seeing people get flatlined, but the headaches and PTSD and neck pain is the stuff we dont have to watch in the CTE collective. I'm not sure I'm a hypocrite for that, but I stand by what I said if so

No no no, you stupid moron! You didn't sound prickish at all.
I meant that "I saw it on Sherdog so it might be wrong".
No apology necessary, friendo.

I worked in a hospital for twenty years so I have seen what you went through- must've been horrific.
I agree. I wouldn't wish injury like that on anyone.

*Sherbro fist bump*

you are aware that medically, fractured and broken mean the exact same thing right?
