Hard to make a pick with how inactive Colby's been. If he's still the same guy that came incredibly close vs Usman this is a hard pick but who knows.
Hoping for Leon because as inactive as he is, I think we'd get a defense out of him quicker than with Colby.

So they've derailed a division for at least 15 months (and likely longer given Leon's inactivity) just to give a 3rd title shot to a guy who hasn't fought in 21 months and is 2-2 in that time, with a combined record of 3-3 vs active UFC fighters.

Where the best fight the best...maybe a couple of times a decade if you're lucky.

It’s difficult to assess how good Colby is given his recent resume. He fought Usman close. Apart from that, there’s not much in the last few years to be able to give us much of an indication.

Styles make fights and this might be a great MMA math lesson. Leon beats Usman who beats Colby who beats Leon.

Colbys pressure and volume against Leons technique. Leon does sort of like to fight 'pretty' and clean, being very calculated and technical...Colby, although he IS teaching, brings an absolute war to whoever he's facing...so yeah, I'm excited. Probably lean Leon.
