Colby too inactive. He might be able to squeeze out a couple rounds of crotch sniffing but I think Leon should be the clear favorite.

what kinda free pass did khabib get from dana? enlighten us. he had to wait how long for a title shot? did dana not gift conor a title shot over khabib as well?
Khabib was allowed to hold on to his belt despite fighting once a year. All his teammates that were involved in the postfight brawl were allowed to stay in the UFC bcos Khabib threatened to retire if they were cut. Plus his last two fights were in Abu Dhabi where he had a favorable crowd (and scale)

Khabib wasn't gifted a title shot on the comeup bcos he kept pulling out and missing weight. He's also the 2nd highest paid fighter in UFC history.

The Dana White privilege extends to Islam as well, who got a title shot after beating Dan Hooker ffs

Colby’s last few fights were fire, with 2 of them Fight of the Night bonuses.

Even both his losses to Usman were extremely competitive and non stop action. His schtick is corny IMO, but obviously still entertaining to a lot of fans.

Belal is a good but not great fighter, has the personality of a sheet of drywall, and looks like a Mr. Potato Head.

I agree that Belal should get this next title shot instead of Colby, but this sport has always valued marketability as well as winning fights when choosing who gets certain opportunities.

Belal will get his chance at gold eventually, and if he goes on a Championship win streak his talent will define his legacy, not his persona.

Jose Aldo is an example of that. UFC really wanted Uriah Faber to be champ, But Aldo was simply better. Aldo was so good that he transcended marketability and won the hearts of fans despite refusing to learn English.

you favor male fighters based on looks? gay.
colby an exciting fighter? lol.

Also khamzat gets rewarded with a title eliminator after botching a weight cut, ruining a main event and only winning 2 fights in the division over unranked opponents

colby is going to make edwards punch himself out looking for a repeat of his “headshot” moment. when that doesn’t materialize, after 3 rounds or so, he will suddenly become aware that he’s running out of breath. he will look at colby, looking fresh and game as he was in round 1. edwards corner will say, “you’re winning, just save your energy, don’t do anything risky.” then the 4th round starts, and edwards feels like he’s drowning. he will attempt a desperation move he’s worked on a few times, but it won’t land, and he will think “oh shit, i need to make it to the end of the round.” but he won’t find a way up. edwards will get sloppy and leave his neck exposed. colby by rnc.

Leon wins this easily

Colby & Usman are done, that era is over

But I do see Colby hurting Leon pretty badly at one point, but Leon will compose and win via TKO in the 5th

Colby has never hurt anyone (outside a washed TWood.)

"Leon wins easily"

"Colby hurts Leon bad at one point"

Not only did you contradict yourself, but I think the fight goes completely the opposite. Colby will win with volume/wrestling on the cards but Leon will have his moments where he may hurt Colby.

While I believe that there’s a good chance that Leon stops him by dropping him (multiple times,) your analysis and response are all spot on!

Leon's got it. Colby will try a high-volume approach and get countered, maybe finished.
