Colby at 155lbs

Has I said in my original post Collby because of his lower body mass and size can make the weight @155. Tony Ferguson walks around way heavier than Colby. But Colby can do what he wants, if so then stop calling out LW's for fights and stick to calling out aged WWs.
Colby vs. Ferguson at whatever weight then mandatory retirement for both before they take any more damage.

Nick Diaz can be the alternate if one of them gets hurt or pulls out.

I'm cool with that I got no fear of Colby Ko'ing Tony with his baby cake striking.

If Colby hasn't gone to 155 yet he never while.

Shout out to Colby for not being a weight bully and fighting at his proper weight. Yeah he could've made 155 but that weight cut wouldn't negatively affected his performance. His cardio and ability to take a punch sky rocketed because he didn't kill himself trying to make 155.

Don't do that to Ferguson.
Colby isn't shot.
He's just not a top contender anymore.
Ferguson is shot.
Colby would look like a motherfucking world beater against Ferguson.

Colby might land that TKD spinning kick and knock out Ferguson.
I've seen Colby hit that kick twice in real fights. Last night what's Buckley and against Lawler.
He'll send Ferguson and his broken chin to the shadow realm.
That's how shot Ferguson is.

Just because someone does spinning shit doesn't mean their spinning shit is any good. Colby's kick was slow as fuck, poorly placed, and wasn't particularly powerful. Buckley had his guard up for so long before the kick landed that it's more a case of Colby kicking Buckley's guard (kinda low at that) than Buckley blocking the kick.

[Edit] For the tornado kick to work it ideally should be a fake back kick to draw the block on the 180, but Colby just twirled on both feet, which made it both slow and easy to defend the 360 without the 180 threat potentially drawing the guard out of place. If you can't generate the torque to keep the back leg up then against a fighter with competent striking defense you're better off just switching stance or taking a quick step and then throwing a regular roundhouse (or just throwing with your front leg for speed over power).

Courtesy red belt level TKD kick.

Seems like Tony is the perfect callout for Colby seeing his current fight level, great undercard fight.

Should've dropped down to 155 after the 2nd Usman fight imo. May have gone bad though. He might be like 5 lbs too heavy to make the cut.

he touched the interim belt at least. close but not cigar unfortunately

dogged determination in the cage, tough, hard worker.. but yeah his days are over at any weight division. This weight cut was one of the worst I've seen from him too, if not the worst
Absolutely, and his interm belt is one of the rare occurrences where it actually mattered...
There is no doubt in anybodies mind that he would have destroyed woodly at the time..

Woodly ran away from him, only accepting the fight when Colby revealed that he was having surgery that he publicly announced.

Without a doubt one of the biggest ducks in the history of the sport

He's too thin to cut to 155. He looked softer though from my memory. Abs in the fight weren't well defined.

Re-hydration is a real thing too bro, all you gotta do is make the scales which is the hard part,re-hydration is the fun part with good body science.

Colby was 14 the last time he could make 155lbs. It is absolutely impossible for Colby to make a scale read 155lbs and then cage fight.

He's gaunt with visible abs and lightly muscled at 171lbs. This is a pipe dream / nonsense.

He would use most of his cardio for the walk out at 155.

Whatever explosive athleticism seemed to vaporized into thin air against Leon.

Doesn't bode well at his age. That time away after the steakhouse ambush started the rusting.

The good thing is Colby is pretty content to lay on top of Tony without doing much damage. He did kind of beat up Masvidal and Lawler, IIRC, but that's when Colby fought with a much more intense pace. His insane cardio seems to be gone at age 36. Colby might go easier on Tony than most anyone else, except Guida, who's like a smaller and older Covington.
