Colby at 155lbs

Colby is a very overrated fighter he's a good wrestler (not great) he's physically weak but can provide pressure in the open ground against limited fighters. He's more of a promotional personality fighter than a really good MMA fighter. I think he still gets his ass handed and fed to him against quality LW's who are not one foot out of the cage and ready to retire. He would be better served to do WWE doing a partnership duo being the mouthpiece role.

Colby was a state champion at 171lbs in high school

He wrestled 174lbs in college.

Colby is dry with visible abs and hollow cheeks on his gaunt face making weight.

It is physically impossible for him to get a scale to read 155lbs and then cage fight. Some of you legitimately have no idea what you're looking at and never competed in a weight cutting combat sport before.

Because he doesn't have structural mass or body density.
He's not particularly muscular and to cut a lot of weight you will need to dehydrate big muscles
Big weight cutters look like Chandler, Woodley, or Buckley, not like Colvington

Just do it in abu dhabi

Isn't that all the reasons to make the weight cut easier for him than those you mentioned?

Re-hydration is a real thing too bro, all you gotta do is make the scales which is the hard part,re-hydration is the fun part with good body science.

Did Hogan and Chael leave before the fight was over?

The idea that fighters in their late 30s should start cutting more weight is hilarious. I mean it'd be a great way to finally see Colby laid out cold.

It all depends on the fighter not so much about their age, not all fighters or people age at the same pace, Swanson proved that to me with his win.

Cutting specifically, gets harder with age, almost every fighter says so. Which is why you tend to see fighters move up in weight class as they age.

Back to Colby specifically, he's said he's never enjoyed cutting much weight so I doubt he'd have any motivation to start this late in the game.

Let's say you are skinny and weigh 180. You can make 170, maybe 165 but will struggle to make 155
If you weigh 180 and look like Chandler, you can make 155. Muscles have more water than the rest of your body weight

Then he should stay at weight looking for aged fighters he thinks he can beat, because he sure ain't beating Buckley-level fighters with his size and skill level.

Has I said in my original post Collby because of his lower body mass and size can make the weight @155. Tony Ferguson walks around way heavier than Colby. But Colby can do what he wants, if so then stop calling out LW's for fights and stick to calling out aged WWs.
