Crime Cohen’s Opening Statement Ahead of House Testimony

I would fire anyone who was taking secret notes of my private meetings, absolutely.

And so would you or any other reasonable person trying to run an organization.

The guy worked for Trump for 10 years! The best Trump supporters can come up with is that Trump didn't know that Cohen was a bad guy?{<diva}

I mean if you actually were to believe that Trump didn't hire Cohen as a lawyer specifically because of Cohen's willingness to break the law, and that Trump was in fact duped hundreds or even thousands of times over 10 years by a dumbass goon like Cohen, how are you comfortable with a man with such dog shit street smarts even meeting with Trudeau, let alone why are you folks not terrified that Trump is meeting, privately, with one of the most cunning and unscrupulously effective world leaders in modern history who was trained by and excelled within the KGB? From that view of Trump, maybe he really did fall in love with Kim and believe him about Otto Warmbier.

We are arguing with people who listen to the words of Rudy Giuliani with seriousness, even now. They will see a guy pioneer the usage of the RICO statutes and bust up the Five NY families, then decades later pretend as if litigators flipping someone in a criminal case is outlaw behavior.

Yeah, Connor's lawyer, Jim Walden (who is now representing the head of Cambridge Analytica in the Mueller probe) prosecuted the mafia in New York back in the day, was recently on Ari Melber's show railing against Gates' lawyer's and Caputo's lawyer's bullshit about the raids on Manafort and Stone being excessive, and was railing about Team Trump's bullshit about being victimized by shady government witnesses. Can you imagine if juries in the US started to buy into that line of thinking, and law enforcement could no longer fight criminal organizations in court with the testimony and evidence provided by criminals on those organizations! Let's see Trump's DOJ fight MS-13 without rats and snitches helping them every step of the way.

No they wouldn’t because all corporations have a compliance department and all employees go through compliance training so that the company isn’t run like an organized crime family. I bet you the Trump organization doesn’t have said department.

Are you suggesting that Trump's genius chief operating officer Matthew Calamari was somehow not competent? I mean just because he looks and sounds like Luca Brasi with a mustache doesn't mean that the Trump org operated like a crime family.

So apparently he lied to Congress again? Told them he never sought a pardon from Trump, then Lanny Davis says he actually did.

Oops.
