Coffee

It’s very rare new products get past my radar these days, but my mum got me some ‘coffee bags’ for Christmas and it caught me off guard how good they are

Imagine a tea bag with ground coffee in
Way quicker than fucking around with a French press and no clean up
Customers at the site we're working on bought us a box of coffee bags and a tin of quality street each as a Christmas gift.
Haven't tried them yet, saving them for when I'm back on site and need a fix.

Holy shit... poor little fellows.

6,99 a bag of how much?

Here 250grs (little over half pound) of Illy Coffee cost around 20 US dollars. Pretty expensive considering te cup of Illy coffe at a coffee store costs about 2 bucks.
Half a pound 227g here is usually £2.50-£6 depending on brand in supermarkets.

I've never been able to develop a taste for coffee. I go for a morning run everyday when I wake up which I find gives me all the boost I need to get the day rolling. I can't imagine needing a chemical fix to start the day off.
Sounds gay

Man went my whole life without it, then my gf got me drinking it.
Spent a year drinking it every morning, caramel, pumpkin spice, various types from around the world with a spoon of vanilla ice cream.

It was a great start to every morning along side a fresh bowl of sativa to watch the sun rise before our day began.

Then one year later i developed acid re-flux and now have to watch what i eat everyday.
No coffee allowed.
Shame, it was a good year worth of mornings.

Damn that’s nice of them
I ge
Got absolutely nothing this year
And because I’m such a stand up nice guy I helped a girl who gave me the ‘ohh I’m in need of a man to do some jobs in my brand new 350 grand house’
Took a unit out and fitted a dishwasher with integrated door and plinth (and it was an old dishwasher too the cheap fucker)

She sent a nice email to head office but I was after some fun coupons

Manchester hey!

Not a big fan personally. I like it best cold brewed and black, but the fruity/berry flavor isn't what I usually want when I am drinking coffee.
Diff tastes. I definitely don’t cold brew, I make mine in a Technivorm drip. And I like good Ethiopian coffee, but if I was going to pick a favorite country for coffee, it’d be Kenya.

We have a local coffee roaster here in town who brings in and roasts their own custom bean blends. Most of the top Coffee Shops buy from them.

I've tried many of the types you buy in grocery stores mentioned up thread but nothing compares to these fresh roasted daily.

If any of you guys is in a town with a local roaster you should definitely try it.

Bulletproof, one to start each day.

Verona beans, grass fed butter and MCT.

In the style of the craft beer explosion from years back. Let me know if you find some Arrogant Bastard or Bad MFer coffee lol.
Got this from Big Storm brewing in Tampa. The nitro, 500mg per 16oz can. Pretty good and probably drank it too fast.

I have bought Lavazza Quality Rossa ground coffee.

On the backside it says Taste Profile:
  • Fruity & Floral
    Chocolate
    Dry Fruits
    Spice
    Wood & Tobacco
    Caramel
    Malt & Honey
    Biscuit
The Taste Profile of the coffee that I bought is chocolate.
I don't understand how coffee can have all those different Taste Profiles.
I also don't understand how the coffee that I bought has a chocolate Taste Profile.

As a trained sommelier, what I can tell you is that vast majority of people's taste buds are underdeveloped due to lack of need. If you never needed to look for a taste when you eat, the only thing most people do is understanding whether they like the taste or not. As a sommelier, we are tasked to actually describe what we taste, so we have to train ourselves to identify specific taste profiles and recalling them when we encounter them, which almost no normal people do. You will get all these taste profiles if you start exercising your taste buds like practicing a musical instrument by digging deep into your memories and start keeping tasting notes of what you tasted, slowly but surly, you will start identifying individual scents and flavours.

I didn't start drinking it regularly until my late 20s. But when I gave up soda around 4-5 years ago, I got hooked on coffee. I'll drink it black, any way. Its pretty much all I drink other than water.

the only thing worst than a beer snob is
a coffee snob
this is the only thing I drink
