Media Coach Javier - Did Khabib stand with Conor because he wanted to or had to?

Why would Khabib stand with him if he doesnt have to ? He's a grappler. In this case why doesnt Conor try to take him down as well, after all he showed an ok ground game in their fight. He should give up what he's best at and try to grapple with Khabib.

Ofc he doesn't have to and he shouldn't. That's what I was trying to say.

Although Khabib's stand-up is underrated, he's still far below Conor in that area.

Like I said before, the worst version of Conor on top of being completely gassed out outstroke Khabib in the third. And make no mistake. Those takedown attempts were just there for Conor to think the takedown threat was still alive although Khabib wanted to stay in that round. So Khabib didn't trust himself completely even when Conor was gassed out and in such a bad shape.

In short, I agree that Khabib wanted to stay in that round and those TD attempts were fake but despite having every advantage (TD threat, gassed out Conor, the worst version of Conor) he still lost the round. He shouldn't try anything like that stupid in the rematch.

Btw the last TD attempt was real because Khabib knew he was losing the round and he wanted to win it by scoring a TD but Conor really stuffed it down, although he couldn't seperate from Khabib.

Khabib and his coaches can say what they want.

Watching the fight Khabib went very hard at the end of round two to try and finish Conor, nearly got the job done as well. He was pretty tired after that so he took round 3 off basically to catch his breath before turning it up again in round 4.

He tried so hard for a 2nd round finish that he paused a kimura and started talking to Dana instead

Everybody who's fought Floyd has lost, I guess Canelo, Pacman, Maidana, Sugar Shane Mosley etc were all bums too...

That's the same for whoever has fought Khabib

He proved that day hes a complete martial artist. I allways find it hilarious when canor and his fanboys cry about grappling and hugging legs. If you hate grappling so much fuck off and go do kick boxing.
Massive like

He had to make Conor inefficient with his energy though grappling initially, in order to remotely stand a chance striking with a tired Conor.
Either Conor needs learn how to grapple or stick to getting TKO by retired boxers

He stood with him because he was physically tired from beating the shit out of conor in the second round. Then he recovered and molested him again in the fourth.

That’s how fighting works sometimes though, right? He implemented his game plan quickly and effectively.

He tried 3 take down attempts in that round so the obvious answer is that he had to, not that he wanted to. He expended a tremendous amount of energy in rd 2 and needed the round off to recover. He is human folks.

The fact that Conor and Khabib have two of the most deluisional fan bases makes this objective truth tough for people to realize.

Here it comes AKA payroll talking shit, as always. Javier talks about Khabib wanting to prove a point in standup, but when the reality checks - Khabib is far worse than Conor and would be KTFO in pure striking - they can't handle the truth and start their bullshit. Fuck them.

That would make sense, except there was no indication of him being tired, his punches looked way sharper than conor's, he was moving around a lot, his movement didnt look labored, while conor looked like he was gonna fall over with every shift of his body.
100% Conor was way more tired, but did you watch the round? Khabib did look tired, and if we go by his past fights, he generally takes round 3 off.

Again, no indication of being tired, tired means your movement looks off, tired means your power and speed are almost gone.
Conor was tired, his movement looked off, his speed and power+ the snap in his punches were almost gone. Breathing heavy and being tired are not mutually exclusive.

Its funny, in Australia, well with my crowd, when you call someone a Danny its short for Danny DumbCunt.. judging by this post that you made its not just Australia

Is it true that in Australia you can have a kangaroo as a pet and teach it jiu-jitsu?

and so khabib stood with conor because he couldn't take him down and had to stand.

If khabib really wants to take you down he will, stuffing some take downs here and there means nothing. The fact is Khabib does want to stand and show his striking but his team won't let him. Khabibib is a little stubborn if you haven't noticed yet. He took Conor down in the 4th easy, he was going back to business.

And if you still can't understand then rewatch the Al fight in the 3rd round back on the stool javier Mendes was begging him to come back to father plan, it was obvious that Khabib was straying from the game plan, he had to be persuaded to come back to it, in the end Javier said, "ok you want to stand fine but in that case please mix it up"

false

Why would it be false ? "Khabib is only a wrestler, it's not possible for him to want to stand", right ? You seem to have issues accepting that. As for the Al anectode, it's there on tape for everyone to hear during the fight.
