Social CNN Reporter: "Troubling" To Probe CIA; "You Don't Do This, The CIA Operates In Their Own World”

If the CIA didn't exist, this country would belong to someone else.
Every major power has an organization like it.
If the CIA disappeared tomorrow our country would within a year as well.

What if I told you..

That C.I.A means

Chinese intelligence in America

And the journalists are farmed from the "education system" which has been totally infiltrated.

Uhhh, educated persons are much more likely to question and challenge institutional power than uneducated ones. It was college students who protested against CIA subterfuge during the late Cold War era. Likewise, support of the PATRIOT Act falls pretty reliably with education.

Do.....do you really think that colleges are teaching students not to question the CIA? Aren't these the same colleges that you think are teaching kids to be unAmerican communists?

Uuhh, "educated" people who gravitate towards journalism are overwhelmingly female and highly indoctrinated with the nonsense you peddle.

Posters in the warroom are so woke to the US government's misdeeds, I wouldn't be surprised if the Agency was watching the future revolutionaries in this very thread.

There should not be any institution above being investigated, especially considering the severity of the scandal that Barr is getting to the bottom of.

So, as liberal women, they'd be overwhelmingly more likely to question authority and the US govt than a conservative patriot like yourself.

It's almost like you're allergic to making sense.

Some how CNN has become the worst and just toxic with MSNBC a close second and then Fox. Fox use to be first

You are handing Trump 2020, and it get's worse for you after 2024.

He's been corrupted by the completely Embarassing and retarded hive mind of CNN.

Rather the engaging with posters you wish to just fling monkey poo with, what are your thoughts on CNN pushing the view that the CIA is above being investigated and answers to no one in their own little world?

@VivaRevolution - I loathe watching talking heads segments. Was there a differing opinion on the show saying the CIA should absolutely be held accountable to the justice department for certain things? And it was a both sides argument between the two being presented to the viewers, and this article is only sharing the reporter saying CIA should not be looked into? Or was it just an exposition by that person, with no countering and thus just coming across as CNN only giving air time to their reporter arguing against CIA investigation?

Also, you don’t go looking under the rug of the agency responsible for trying to prevent bad shit from happening. Sometimes they get things wrong and the last thing we need to start doing is judging from a position of hindsight

I don't wish to fling poo with him. I wish to bring him to the most basic level of self-reflection where he realizes his many characterizations are directly in conflict. Conservatives suddenly saying that the people they've been calling anti-American communists for opposing the CIA and political/economic hierarchy in general for decades are now shills for those hierarchies is shameless.

As far as CNN's view here, CNN is trash. To about the same or similar extent that every major US news outlet is trash when it comes to the topics of national security/defense and foreign policy. Now, they aren't nearly as bad as some (worse than NYT or WashPo, but better than Fox News), but they are awful: this should have been recently realized when they repeatedly regurgitated the current administration's (easily-disproved) talking points on Venezuela and treated Trump's escalation of tensions with Iran as an organic conflict rather than what it was, the sole invention of an impulsive, careless piece of shit (or pieces of shit if you include Bolton and company).

However, actively politicizing investigations of the CIA in order to infringe on its sovereignty not for the purpose of democratic information but for partisan leveraging and compromising of its charter is, yeah, troubling. Trump has already significantly degraded the sovereignty and just basic respectability of the DOJ, FBI, and court system, and the CIA would just be another victim in a long line of government agencies that half of the country is driven against for no actual coherent reason other than "daddy said so."
