Like other people in the thread have said, I think he was out, then woke up when he hit the ground.

I think the last thing someone that just got knocked out should do is take more punishment. I'm okay with the stoppage.

I am completely serious. His fall looked nasty, but he woke up as soon as he hit the ground, ready to defend, tracking Cody and keeping his feet up and his arms by his head. Not done.

This. I'm less upset that the fight was stopped than what he did stepping in the way. He never should have done that if he wasn't stopping the fight. Really poorly handled.

The timing of the actual stoppage? That was fine.

Now, the ref jumping between the fighters without stopping the fight, that was not fine at all.

I can't emphasize enough how big a fuckup that is.
