The guy you quoted was talking about how ridiculous it is that Punk got signed straight into the UFC instead of going to the minor leagues and you show a picture of Jordan playing in the...minor leagues?

You do know that Michael Jordan never played a single major league baseball game in his LIFE right? He signed with the chicago white sox but only in a development capacity.

Which means they sent him down to play in their MINOR LEAGUE team the Birmingham Barons (as in Birmingham Alabama...which was kinda awesome for me cause I got to see him play as a kid)

So even the great Michael Jordan had to start in the minor leagues (which he never escaped from) in his attempt to switch to baseball.

He didn't get to start in the major leagues and thus he never made it to the major leagues.

I recall a lot of speculation that it only happened as a way for him to avoid being penalized with suspension for a gambling issue.

At least he bought that team a bus which they needed.
But terrible example, MJ was awesome with a basketball but fucking terrible at baseball.

Just like Punk can lift big guys who let him (see above) but lifting a guy who's punching and kicking will be a different story.
