Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is a new single-player survival horror action game set in the universe of one of the most iconic horror franchises ever. You will be put face-to-face against Pinhead, with actor Doug Bradley returning to the role for the first time in nearly two decades. Discover the tale of Aidan, who must unlock the dark powers of the Genesis Configuration, a mysterious puzzle box, to save his girlfriend from a hellish abyss. Single player survival horror. No asymmetric bullshit. Actually looks good. Clive Barker directly involved. Doug Bradley doing the voice.

I will buy this on day 1 just to support them for actually putting effort into making a real game and not the typical lazy asymm trash. But this actually looks good. Could this be the Alien Isolation of Hellraiser? If so, I am so excited!

I don't think it's been announced yet for Halloween exactly what it is. But a lot of rumors point to typical asymm bullshit and it's looking like GUN media and Illfonic took over the game rights. Which almost certainly guarantees another bullshit asymm game. We'll have low end PS4 graphics on the PS6 with gameplay from the PS3 era. Even though Halloween is my favorite of the slashers, if this turns out to be true, there is zero percent chance I will buy it. I'm not wasting money on asymm crap.


(I hope the rumors are wrong and it turns out to be single player survival horror like Alien Isolation with an original story set somewhere in the OG Halloween timeline. In that case I will buy it Day 1)

I've always thought she was the hottest of the OG slasher final girls. Halloween 1, ANOES 1, F13th 1, TCM 1, Hellraiser 1, Child's Play 1..... she wins by a county mile.

Has there ever been a Hellraiser video game? I never really thought about it as a game, but it's pretty much tailor made for it, so long as it's single player survival horror, as others have mentioned, I'm so down!

Never an official game. Funny enough I always figured the best way to make a Hellraiser game would be to do it like Hellbound (#2), where you have to go into the labyrinth (hell) and find something or someone and then work your way out. It looks like that's exactly what they're doing.

The only thing I'm really concerned about at this point is whether this is going to be a AAA game like Alien Isolation or a lower tier? It looks good either way but obviously AAA would be ideal and give us the best game.

I did enjoy playing going against the cenobites in Dead By Daylight but this looks like a much much better use of the property.

Absolutely! Multiplayer with these characters seems like an odd choice. It doesn't really fit. But single player story is absolutely perfect.

I think that because Barker himself is involved (I'm not sure exactly how) but if nothing else he just answers their questions, that is a huge plus for this game.

Man, I can't get over how great this looks. Who would have ever thought that HELLRAISER of all things would get a proper video game. Damn. I'm honestly extremely jealous. This is what I want for Halloween.

The original is one of the classics of the genre. Hellraiser 2 is relatively good, too. Would recommend both.
