Guida coming for that belt
If he fights for a few more years his nickname will be "The Carpenters Pension". He will have enough time in the union to start collecting.Jesus lol.
Alright I’ll watch
61 I though.This will be Guida's 59th professional fight.

Wiki had him at 60 but the dog has him at 58. Weird. It might be. I just added the numbers on his official record (38-22)
vs. another UFC journeyman posterboy Zak Cummings, although Zak's record - having just checked - is better than I'd thought. Rumor is that Sam Alvey is the back-up for that fight.I found out yesterday myself lmao. Your reaction was exactly mine. He's fighting? Ok I'll watch.
Ed fucking Herman is fighting too.
The ones that decry about the wrestling antics the most are the target mark audience, funnily enough. Its even worse than that. I've seen so many people say things like
"Meh, this fight doesn't interest me because win or lose Max doesn't go anywhere. He's not beating Volk and there's nowhere for him to go. If Allen wins then it means nothing because Max is on the downswing."
Apparently Sherdoggers couldn't care less about watching a super high level, intriguing fight. They just care about the storylines and potential future storylines and ramifications that come out of it. We have a bunch of soap opera fans here, not MMA fans.
Yep, 17 years in the ufc and not just mma in general which is a long ass time in its self. I was 21 years old and still living at home watching on a 400lb box tv with a 30" screen that was big for the time lol.His first UFC fight was at UFC 64 in 2006. Dear God!

Would love to know what happens in a world in which Guida actually string together like 4or 5 consecutive wins these past few years
