This will be Guida's 59th professional fight.
I love Guida as much as the next guy but every MMA fan should be watching tonight regardless. It's a sneakily good card and the main event is as good a fight as you'll see all year.

This card gets no respect because a lot of people are still dealing with their emotions regarding Izzy-Poatan. While understandable, I think it's okay to let yourself move on, and enjoy tonight's card. It has something for everyone.
Its even worse than that. I've seen so many people say things like
"Meh, this fight doesn't interest me because win or lose Max doesn't go anywhere. He's not beating Volk and there's nowhere for him to go. If Allen wins then it means nothing because Max is on the downswing."
Apparently Sherdoggers couldn't care less about watching a super high level, intriguing fight. They just care about the storylines and potential future storylines and ramifications that come out of it. We have a bunch of soap opera fans here, not MMA fans.

I hear ya. Sometimes it’s awesome to just watch a high level matchup. No distractions just getting sucked into a back and forth
Yeah I'm a fan of the martial arts, the style clashes, the match ups etc.
While it can be fun to get sidelined in all the pageantry and the media and the storylines and stuff, at the end of the day I'm a fight fan. Without the fights everything else is meaningless.
Sherdog seems to have a lot of people that care about everything other than the actual fight. They care about what "names" are on a card, how corrupt Dana and the other bigwigs are, whos beefing with who and occasionally they care about a fighter if they have a belt. I think many of them would be better suited to the WWE or a TV soap opera, but tbf, many of them probably came into MMA from watching WWE in the first place.
