I just don't care

I watched the vid and it looks amazing and what today's concept of Doom is but I grew up with the classics and I like simpler games

I never play modern type games at all and hate them - in fact the only console I have is a Wii

Alot of years wasted NOT playing new Doom when i could have been playing new Doom.

I don't typically have time to play games tbh

My classic doom resurgence was a result of Christmas holidays and getting screen recording software

It feels overwhelming to even think about getting into a new game

Classic doom is something I flip on when I have a mo to myself

On a rainy day it's my go to

I almost don't want to corrupt my view on it with modern pop and sizzle and different physics / game play and feel etc

It would be like learning to walk after having your legs broken

I can't bring myself to do it bud hah hah

But classic Doom still has a decent community of players
