here is 6'5" gane next to 6'2" akhmed tazhudinov (2024 paris olympics 97 kg freestyle wrestling champion)

gane should have done this sooner
khabib's advice to gane after he lost to francis: "go to dagestan for 2-3 years and forget"

i guess he is really serious now after losing to francis, jones, and arguably volkov

this was just posted within the hour from tazhudinov's insta story, 4/9/25.
you won't find this elsewhere, like ciryl's socials, reddit r/ufc or r/mma or sherdog.

I'll believe his vast improvement when I see it. He also needs to train with a shrink to find out why he completely crumbled against Jones. That was so embarrassing and lazy it made me not really a fan anymore. He literally had a year to prepare for Jones' takedowns and he played video games instead.

Gane's TDD defense isn't as bad as it's talked about here, it mostly come from Jones haters. Probably after Jones retires Gane will be considered a good HW this era. His wrestling is still his biggest weakness so glad he's working on it.

Too little too late. We all know bro still gets folded by any semi decent wrestler, it’s why the UFC has kept him far away from guys like Blaydes and Almeida.

Bro even got outclassed by Volkov on the mat I don’t want to hear anything about this dude. Not a serious player at HW.

Dude. Nice try, It's fucking bad. After being gifted all strikers, he got handled on the ground by bjj no-belt Francis Ngannou who was injured and he got destroyed on the ground by an old and slow Jon Jones in just a few seconds. Has he fought Curtis Blaydes, has he fought Jailton Almeida, has he fought Tom Aspinall? What do you honestly think would happen if he did?

I'm not ashamed to say i bought into the hype till the Francis fight. When i stopped to think i was like "nah, overhyped".

You didn't see him getting swept and reversed by an injured no-belt at the pivotal point in the match? Maybe you should re-watch
I did see that but i dont think "he got handled" on the ground he literally blanketed him, did zero damage and attempted no submission.

you could argue that francis shouldn't even win that round
