Interesting fight, I'd say this is a toss up. One who lands flush first wins.
I gave a like because I understand your point of view. But Gane is tough out for anyone in the division. The JBJ fight was a star struck moment with a guy who is supremely skilled. Cant do that. His outing with Ngannou was a shock from what he expected and trained for. He's not a sham or a pretender. He's just not well rounded. But I do understand your point.I have exactly zero fucks to give with this clown. It’s more important to him to be the highest ranked player on a fucking online video soccer game than to be the UFC HW champion.
I’m not sure I can properly express the disgust I have for him knowing he didn’t do one fucking thing to improve his wrestling/TDD after Ngannou. He had the opportunity to be the first man to actually beat Jones. But he’s too “lazy”.
I’m not even remotely kidding right now. I thought when he said that it was just gamesmanship. Uhhhh, guess not.
Shame me once, shame on you. Shame me twice, shame on me. I REFUSE to give this clown the opportunity to shame me a second time.
I don’t give a fiddler’s fuck about the French market. It’s only 67M people, anyway. And they have actual “fighters” in Manon, and St. Denis, anyway.
Adopted sons Ngannou, and Doumbe have chosen other routes. Being Canadian I have a natural affinity for Francophones, and French people.. Except the assholes.
But, I would have shit canned this clown the second that pitiful performance against Jones ended.
“Here Gane.. Now you can play soccer online 24/7”.

He is an elite stand up fighter. And will probably beat any other HW in a stand up fight. Don’t get me wrong.I gave a like because I understand your point of view. But Gane is tough out for anyone in the division. The JBJ fight was a star struck moment with a guy who is supremely skilled. Cant do that. Which he did clearly on two occasions. He's still very good and has a route to success. Just has to put the time in to fill in the gaps in his deficiencies(grappling). He is an elite stand up fighter. And will probably beat any other HW in a stand up fight. Don’t get me wrong.
I’m just saying it is aggravating as shit to watch certain fighters sometimes.
If they choose a gameplan I think is wrong, is one thing. I’m not perfect by any means at all. But, I do think I can recognize a bad gameplan (Rose vs Carla 2) from a good gameplan (Weili’s gameplan vs the very same Carla).
But to competely ignore such a gaping hole in your skillset is unforgivable. Especially after you acknowledge it, but admit you’re too lazy to do anything about it.
Gane doesn't deserve to keep avoiding grapplers.
this is a good fight but it is also terrible timing. Gane should fight someone further down in the rankings. Pav has earned his place as #1 contender and deserves the next shot at the belt
It's a great match-up in and of itself, but in terms of where the division is right now, I feel like Pavlovich should fight for the belt and Gane should have at least one rebound fight before fighting in a #1 contender fight.Dont like that matchup? I think its fantastic.
When was the last time you saw Jones hurt in a fight? This is the worst match up in the division for Pavlovich. At least with Jon or Stipe, Pavlovich might be able to hurt then early but Gane is a different story. This is coming from someone who expected that Jon would have no problem with Gane's striking so I'm not some biased Gane fan.
To anyone who brings up Tuivasa dropping Gane, you don't know what you are talking about. Pavlovich's shots are easier for Gane to avoid than Tuivasa's or Ngannou's, especially in the pocket. Pavlovich might land his jabs but I guarantee you he's too damn stiff to capitalize on any of them. This is an easy win for Gane.
Just another hater wishing upon wish that the big bad wolf(Jon Jones) gets put down. When was the last time you saw Jones hurt in a fight?
As is life my friend.Nerds will be mad if/when Gane KOs Pav. They'll be more mad if/when Pav wins then gets smoked by Jonny.
Bones bless.
no its terrible timing because Gane has lost his last fight (badly) and Sergei is on a win streak. also due to the limbo status the title seems to be in until Jones and Stipe fight. go fanboy somewhere else. It's terrible timing because you don't wan't sergei to lose against a better striker.
Lol!
Thats how competition is structured
The loser is eliminated from the top position
