The Mueller report says that the lies to Congress and to the special counsel from "several individuals affiliated with the Trump Campaign" "materially impaired the investigation of Russian election interference." So Barr is full of shit (we knew that already).

“If we had confidence after a thorough investigation of that facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, however, we are unable to reach that judgment.” The report doesn't exonerate the president.

The report is really bad for President outside of his cult following.

I'm definitely not in his "cult following" and I think it looks great for Trump so far. The key question was whether or not Trump or his campaign members worked with the Kremlin/GRU/IRA to coordinate the DNC/DCCC hacks or the social media manipulation. The report appears to have found no evidence that any US citizen was involved in those activities.

This pretty clearly establishes collusion.

It seems pretty obvious at this even early stage of reading through the report by people that he would have been indicted for sure on obstruction, and possibly on conspiracy were he not the sitting president.

Honest question - could he have said that because he believed the special counsel would be on a witch hunt to end his presidency?

Your assumption that "I'm fu****" implies wrongdoing on Trump's behalf has no more merit than the assumption that "I'm fu****" implies Trump believes the special counsel would be out to get him.

Drawing any conclusion from his statement without knowing the intent behind it is nothing more than pure conjecture.
