Chuck once had a chin of granite

We get it, TS, we get itttttttt.

You've made several threads that consist of such a defensive OP that is prepared for any differing opinions from yours via stereotyping posters, who might come in your threads and disagree with you as “trolls, casuals” and so on, while you seemingly view yourself as some “hardcore, true, old school” mma fan.

Yeah, we know. That's why it's disgusting that anyone helped him get in the cage in this condition.

Your kidding right? He took bombs from rampage in their first fight and ate them, he took a huge overhand from mezger followed by a head kick as soon as he got up, overeem dropped him in their fight, the list goes on you need to rewatch those fights.

You moron, he's not debating Chuck's granite chin of the past, he requested 'gifs' showing the times where he had to recover from a shot, like in the Mezger fight.

I know that there will be newer generation fans who come in here and troll, and that's expected...

But on a serious note, to those of you who remember, Chuck Liddell was known as having one of the hardest chins in mma back in the day. I mean the guy took absolute bombs from guys like Rampage, Mezger, Belfort, Overeem, etc and wouldnt look fazed at all.

Unfortunately his style wasnt meant to last long term. Guys like Couture could fight at a more elite level at a later age because of the way he fought.

I really wish Chuck would just let it go. He's still up 2-1 against Tito when it mattered. Hes accomplished alot in this sport. Theres so many other things that he can do.

This isn't a restaurant son, use the wide range of technology to find the footage yourselves. I'm not digging around online just to educate noob fans.

Cocaine jaw losened his shit up
Also rashad was the first to end that chin
After that ko plus all the coke his chin was done

Though alot of the ko punches he suffered back then were huge punches he ran into
But yea it was rashad rampage shogun(saw live).then franklin all starching him

And then he gets all butt hurt telling us to watch them lol, i wanna see some gifs of chuck taking seriousl flush shots multiple times in a fight to show his chin was great. All i knew is he had good recovery and rarely took damage in his prime he used those long arms and circled guys and countered them and avoided damage compared to other fighters
Chuck was never known for avoiding damge.

Edit: hence the reason his chin went to get lottery tickets and never came back.

i was wondering if anyone thought it was the coke.
Im not sure either way, but this was the post i was looking for....
i dont know about the actual chin, but the way he has aged and the way he went to sleep off of such a non KO punch suggest serious brain damage.
He moves like a really old man. For reference i am 42. My friends are all in their 40s. He seemed way older than 48.

Not a chance 50/50

The reach, power, and accuracy against a wild hook heavy slugger. 80/20 and thats being generous.
And yes i know about Silvas "black belt" in BJJ. He'd never take the fight to the ground against Liddells TDD unless they fell to ground by accident, and if that were to happen, he isnt going to sub or GnP Liddell, hes an all time great at getting back to his feet.
Its styles, and Silva matches up terribly against Liddell.

I think Wand did pretty good in their fight even considering he was coming off two brutal KOs. 50/50 might be stretching it so I'll meet you half way and say 65/35 Chuck wins.

chuck made the ufc! this is mma not boxing. everyone loses. with that being said, chuck was a great fighter who was extremely entertaining. he beat the best of the best in his day and yea he lost as well but he was the man because of his crowd pleasing fighting style. now we are all witnessing the effect his fighting style is having on his brain.

chuck is a legend!!! end of thread!

I memba.

But he also fought damn near all grapplers as Champion in the UFC...right up until Rampage
