Probably because Jones has a rap sheet a mile long while Liddell doesn’t. And Jones busted his wife’s mouth open to the mouth where one of their kids wandered into the hotel lobby begging for help while Liddell didn’t. Oh and then he decided to put on a real show and headbutt a cop car like the buffoon he is.

There's going to be a long, long line of incidents like this from retired MMA fighters. Lets call it the jobless CTE effect, these guys take years/decades of brain damage and then have no training/fighting regiment anymore to keep them in check, no career to fall back on so they just kinda go crazy in middle age and hurt themselves and the people around them, see BJ Penn and Matt Hughes as other examples.

You are right. A lot of people that get into prize fighting already have mental and emotional issues and things only get worse after years of being punched in the head and abusing numerous substances. The fight game is not the healthiest lifestyle on any level. It destroys you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

I'm sure Chuck is not the most terrible person, but I sure wouldn't want my kids to look up to him and follow in his footsteps. There is a reason he largely appeals to the lowlife, fratboy type.
