Chris Leben

Pretty sure he attacked his ex wife with a hammer and then crashed his truck into a casino. His daughter had to go online to beg MMA dipshits to stop popularizing her dad as a hero becuase it was destroying the family, who were trying to heal.
Present me with the evidence that he attacked his wife with a hammer.

Who KO'd Bobby that was also on TUF with him? I dont remember that.
Southworth then appeared on Season 1 of The Ultimate Fighter. He won his first preliminary fight against Lodune Sincaid, but lost the second versus Stephan Bonnar by split decision. Bobby returned to the house as a possible replacement for Forrest Griffin, should he not have been medically cleared to fight in the semifinals, but Forrest's cut healed safely and Southworth did not fight again until the undercard of the finale, where he fought a man he picked on in the house Sam Hoger and was defeated. It was a unanimous decision victory for Sam Hoger.

I happened to watch a bit of the Old Tuf enough yesterday just out of curiosity. It came up some where , first '' War Machine '' It said Matt Sera was right that he was a crazy ass mofo ( most fighters are anyway to some degree ) and War Machine was very good fighter, but equally as emotional ( again, as is the case with many fighters )

War Machine got life in prison. Gee I didn't know he went to jail for life. Very sad to hear and what a waste of talent. Leben come up and I remember him losing it after Bobby Southworth said something you don't say to people. Leben acted very well I must say and actually let it go, yet those idiots Koshcheck and Southworth still went at him after Leben was drunk and went to sleep outside the house to avoid them. Koscheck and Southworth woke him up by wetting him with the hose, a low dog act. Just looking back it was great to see the restraint Leben had in not throwing away his career fighting in the house over those idiots and Leben def had the better career over Southworth and even appeared in the television series Kingdom ( absolute cracker of a show, Frank Grillo and co are first class ) Just a blast from the past and good to see someone who had the odds stacked up against him and not let his past get in the way of a very good future. Also, Nate Quarry is an absolute gentlemen for the way he helped and took care of Leben that night in the house when everything unfolded. That is a true champion in every sense of the word. Conversely what an absolute idiot that clown haired-Koscheck is for instigating crap and hanging shit on Quarry who acted the way one should in trying to defuse the situation and taking care of one in need. Glad GSP showed he is the superior man in beating Koscheck.

Mitrione was another one that came back to mind when '' Sugar '' Rashad Evans said he had issues. I don't even think Mitrione '' flexed '' on him like he said lol. Anyway, he did ok for himself. I didn't know he K.O'd Fedor, albeit he was past his prime.

And back to Bobby '' the bully '' Southworth. He fought someone else he bullied in the house of Tuf Enough and got his ass K.O'd.

Man I hate bullies.

Bravo Chris Leben and co. Leben was an animal and scored some great K.O Victories.
Didn't Leben kick off the entire series by peeing in someone's bed? He wasn't much of a good guy either from what I can remember 20 years ago.

I always liked Leben. Seemed like a genuine guy. Used his talents to full effect and let it all hang out. Unfortunate for him how he was matched up with Anderson like a man being thrown into a tiger pit.

Story of his life really...

But if theres anyone who can speak to the transformative effects that Martial Art mastery can have on someone... he's a good example...his life really is movie like..

Dirt poor , bullied/hated childhood , bad parents
Leads to substance abuse young and throughout early adulthood..
Finds an outlet for the violence in his heart through pure brawling at first
Begins to pick up on other levels and skills once coming to a clash with a pure Martial Artist in Silva
Turns life around fully and becomes a well rounded professional who can tap into those deeper darker emotions when the fight calls for it.
Retires successful
Transitions to reffing and stays close to the sport that forever changed and bettered him

A truely honorable character ark ...

Chris Leben should have everyone's respect , he certainly has mine forever

This is why White belts should not beable to post threads. But this Forum is a shit show joke just like the UFC, so Carry on.

I saw Leben fight Benji Radach at Sport Fight 4 back in 2004 just a year or so before he went on TUF. The blood was literally flying out of the ring. It was cool to see guys like him and short fuse when they were young, and then watch them see real success in their mma careers.

Leben had some screws loose but I doubt it's ever been on the level of lets say, War machine or Phil Baroni. Another couple of head cases from another era Justin Levins, Rafael Torre and of course, Joe Son. Leben gives me the impression that deep down he is probably not so bad of a dude whereas the other names mentioned are pure scum of the earth
Feel free to add Josh Grispi and Mayhem Miller to your list.

He also holds a win against Swick in the pre-zuffa WEC.

Reality show is not good if you want to learn something about person.
