You gotta feel a bit for him and his brother both getting cut so close to each other. But after 3 brutal KOs and then this one at LHW it doesn't look good. As you can see above his defense timing is poor and he doesn't have a good chin. And the other guys at LHW hit almost as hard as the HWs but are quicker with it. His body is very flabby too. He doesn't believe he could make 185 but if he tried maybe he could pull of a Jared Cannonier. Crazy he quit the police force to focus on this full-time and then gets cut. Just brutal, man.

They joined together it's only fitting to be cut together.

Suspect chin and even worst defense, Arlovski and Overeem were able to survive at HW even after having their chins tested more than enough, considering he was more of an overweight LHW than a true LHW that could have an effect too, also his LHW "debut" fight wasnt exactly easy for a guy on a 3-loss streak all by KO.

To be fair, both of them also got KO'd by some of Chris' recent losses so I think it's unfair to just chalk it up to his defense alone. UFC just decided to feed him to extremely powerful guys one day and never looked back.

He'd probably been able to right the ship against some of the guys AA has been fighting the past couple of years honestly. A LHW debut against Philipe Lins would've been more merciful than Khalil.
