The UFC wasn't paying him millions of dollars, lol. Of course you think the pay scale is fair if you believe these guys are getting six or seven figures a fight. But they're not.

I believe the pay scale is fair because the fighters who are getting paid well deserve it, they earned it. My point was people here believe it’s difficult to get into the UFC and when they do no matter their record they deserve 100’s of thousands, i don’t agree with that and Barnett is a perfect example.

Saying 6 figures can simply mean 100k. You do understand 30% of that goes to taxes? Well it fucking does. Your lack of knowledge on that means you should type leas and listen more. 15% of his pay goes to his manager at minimum and sometimes 20%. This is roughly 20k. So now we are down to 50k. After paying his training his pay is probably 40k at most. After paying for travel and minor incidentals I am sure that’s 5k. Basically he takes home 35-40k if he gets paid $100,009. You are a bozo if you are crying about fighters taking home that much because he would literally have to fight 3x a year to actually take home over $100k.

I agree fighters should get paid more, but the cream will always rise to top and they are the ones that get paid well, as they should. Harsh reality is not all fighters will ever reach that status, be it they’re not that good to get there, Barnett is one of them, if he wants to continue MMA thats on him, imo its better he puts his time and energy into worth while career minus the head trauma.
