I feel youTruly the end of an era
I feel youTruly the end of an era
The UFC wasn't paying him millions of dollars, lol. Of course you think the pay scale is fair if you believe these guys are getting six or seven figures a fight. But they're not.Barnett is a perfect example of why I say the UFC pay scale is pretty fair, who the hell would pay him 100s of thousands to millions to fight for your org? Other than the great Sherdoggers fantasy MMA org.
Even if he got six figures he absolutely should because after paying taxes and his team and training he would be licky to take half homeThe UFC wasn't paying him millions of dollars, lol. I believe the pay scale is fair because the fighters who are getting paid well deserve it, they earned it. My point was people here believe it’s difficult to get into the UFC and when they do no matter their record they deserve 100’s of thousands, i don’t agree with that and Barnett is a perfect example. The UFC wasn't paying him millions of dollars, lol. Lol, hell no. You think Chris Barnett should be getting paid six or seven figures? Hahahaha. Paying his team and training? For what? Dude clearly doesnt take his “career” or opportunity serious, you don’t know his training regime, you don’t know if he trained 2x a week for a few hrs or 5days a week once in the morning and night, but judging by what we have seen……. He clearly trains his ass off.Even if he got six figures he absolutely should because after paying taxes and his team and training he would be licky to take half home
Listen carefully buddy as you clearly don’t understand pay structure or money it seems. Saying a fighter shouldn’t get paid 6 figures while fighting in the UFC is immature logic. Saying 6 figures can simply mean 100k. You do understand 30% of that goes to taxes? Well it fucking does. Your lack of knowledge on that means you should type leas and listen more. 15% of his pay goes to his manager at minimum and sometimes 20%. This is roughly 20k. So now we are down to 50k. After paying his training his pay is probably 40k at most. After paying for travel and minor incidentals I am sure that’s 5k. Basically he takes home 35-40k if he gets paid $100,009. You are a bozo if you are crying about fighters taking home that much because he would literally have to fight 3x a year to actually take home over $100k.Lol, hell no. A Sherdoggers MMA org would be worst then the GFL.
Im listeningListen carefully buddy as you clearly don’t understand pay structure or money it seems.
No, it’s not immature logic, it’s using called using your brain. Theres a reason why the UFC is still around, while every other org failed. It’s not a charity, no person in the right mind will sign a fighter like Chris Barnett and pay him 100k off the bat.Saying a fighter shouldn’t get paid 6 figures while fighting in the UFC is immature logic.
50k/50k? Or a flat flat rate of 100K?Saying 6 figures can simply mean 100k.
You do understand it’s varies on location of said bout? But sure tell me more about this 30% tax like thats norm, could be lower depending on the fighters tax bracket which….i doubt Barnetts is at 30%. We acting like a Tax Refund doesnt exist. Barnett has fought in Vegas and Abu Dhabi most of his career barring one bout in New York the highest, Vegas is a tax friendly state and Abu Dhabi he retains all his income. You do understand 30% of that goes to taxes?
If you’re paying your manager 15-20% relative to your income, you’re an idiot and if you are, they better be worth it.Well it fucking does. Your lack of knowledge on that means you should type leas and listen more. 15% of his pay goes to his manager at minimum and sometimes 20%.
Barnett trains himself. This is roughly 20k. So now we are down to 50k. After paying his training his pay is probably 40k at most
UFC pays for that.. After paying for travel and minor incidentals I am sure that’s 5k.
Again, depending on location of said bout. More than likely he takes home 60-75, hypothetically if his income is 100k his last 2 bouts were in Abu Dhabi so he took home 200lBasically he takes home 35-40k if he gets paid $100,009.
Lol, wtf. This is the form of employment he chose, no one forced him, no one forced these fighters. These are grown adults, not children. Hypothetically if he is making 100k, his last 3 fights alone he made a quarter mil.You are a bozo if you are crying about fighters taking home that much because he would literally have to fight 3x a year to actually take home over $100k.
Not a very good fighter but he was a big personality in a shallow division.
