Well they have a little money to burn trying to kickstart this international K-1 again, but they need to start making money to keep this up. Their broadcast deals are essentially non existent outside Japan so far.

Probably less than Glory and ONE, but more than all the other notableshows. I may be engaging in more than a little wistful thinking, but I have a feeling that k-1 will probably be fine.
 
I mean from Chingiz POV it’s smart. All fighters have their moments. Buakaw did, Petrosyan did, Sittichai did, superbon and then Chingiz. Some fans however might not have tuned in to the kickboxing scene before ONE so to them Chingiz is like GOAT status. I’ve seen the videos on YouTube from the new wave of Kickfighting fans that ONE has produced. Many aren’t aware that Chingiz lost to both Petrosyan and Marat or that he lost his first fight vs Sittichai and won the rematch against a shadow of Sittichais former self. Chingiz is good but he’s definitely beatable. It’s only a matter of time so leaving now after a string of wins is probably the best thing he can do in terms of legacy. I would’ve love to see some more fights out of him and a move up in weight because he is big for 155 but I get it.

Well you won't find the guys to beat him in ONE Chingiz already beat most of those guys. His team hinted going to K-1. K-1 has most of the prospecs anyways, thanks to Glory LOL

Today ONE Championship will officially clarify Chingiz Allazov’s contract situation on 2 September. Chingiz is still referred to as the ONE kickboxing World Champion in the press release.

The press conference about Chingiz’s contract situation has been cancelled. Chingiz just made a post on his social media thanking ONE and that he is at a different stage in his life.

So still in the dark... if they released him.

K-1 paid Por Pramuk managers - don't know if Buakaw saw much of that Yen.

Overeem never got paid for his Grand Prix win. - FEG declared chapter 4.
 
Looks like K-1 fighter Kana Silver wolf is now in ONE. Was hoping K-1 was stepping up to grow.
 
Chatri treating Chingiz Allazov like a whining child, saying stuff like when he ready to come back (be a good boy) he can fight again. Not saying the real words of that will not release him from his contract and he will have to not fight anywhere till his contract up... which will not be in 2025.

Chatri is a strategist in the end of the day, he uses all his leverage to try to suffocate his competition. If I had fighters who show potential, I would not send them to One. Things are very shady there indeed. I talked to an insider who said that at least 25% of the whole roster are complaining about inactivity and regrets having signed there but they can't talk in public about it, fearing potential retaliation.

The less you know, the better you sleep.
